Sorry to hear you feeling glum as well Emma. Whats wrong with us all, as I was in the depths yesterday as well & nearly lost my mojo, but back again today!
Is it anything in particular, or just life in general? I find if its SW related, I do lose the plot with it every few weeks & get really despondant, but have to remember what it feels like when you've lost all the weight & how good you feel! Its a long slow slog, but before you know it you'll get there. Looking at your stats Emma, you are at quite a low BMI already, so would it help to maybe call target for a few weeks, maintain & then get back to it when your in a better place? x

everyone does still seem to be glum :-(
My OHs money hasnt gone into his bank so we have no money till i get paid next wednesday which means no food. Not too sure how we are going to do it to be honest. I have £2 on my account at school so can can a school dinner today and had 4 biscuits at break because they were free and thought they might put me on. Was planning on having a green week this week to try keep the cost down but looks like im just having a starvation week instead!

Cant you ring the bank & tell them about your OH's money not going in & get a temporary overdraft? Im sure they would be able to help & if its not as if he wont get paid. Hope you manage to get it sorted x

Thanks Kim, you always give the best messages.... Hmm, it's a combination of things really. My oh is away and missing him quite a bit but we've also just moved in together and feel quite unsettled in the new place. I'm trying to remortgage my old flat too so that's an added stress.

Work is going through restructuring too and I know my job is safe but just find it a bit stressful as not sure exactly what I'll be responsible for.

A big part is weight related too though. I know my BMI is fine but I just feel v chunky. I train with a trainer and run but feel like my thighs are actually getting worse. It feels like a lot of effort/expense at the moment for little progress.

I do like going to group but all the other ladies are a lot bigger and although they're lovely I think we're coming from totally different places. It's also hard to hear them being off plan but losing 2-3lbs but then me being good and losing 0.5 or 1. I know it's because they are bigger but just gets me down sometimes

Sorry - that was a very big moan! X

I know how you feel. I am the smallest at my group now but I still feel huge! It annoys me how they lose so much each week and have been out and everything yet I have been fantastic minus some fish and chips and only lose 1/2lbs over 2 weeks!!! DOES MY NUT IN

Dont apologise, we all need to get things off our chest. The trouble is I find with problems, its easy to cope with one or two, but when there is more than that, all the little ones group together & become one big huge problem & then its seems near on impossible to sort that huge big problem out! You need to split them up again into 'little' problems & slowly work thru each one methodically, as they will be 'fixable', just dont seem it when its huge! Does that make sense?!
Did you ever measure your thighs? Who's to say that 'chunk' is not muscle & you're becoming toned. It takes a long time & wont happen overnight, as Im sure you know! Do you need your trainer? Are you putting added stress on yourself to perform for the trainer? These are things you need to ask yourself. We are all the worst culprits of adding pressure to our already stressful lives, so why add to it?! Take a step back & think if a friend came to you with these 'problems', what would you say to her? Probably, take a step back & prioritise!
Thats one of the reasons I dont like going to class! I know on here we have little blips with food/booze, but to sit week in week out listening to the same people.......grr, does my nut in! So, why not take a break from class & see how you get on.
Sorry, I do ramble on & hope it makes sense!!! x

Sorry the glum is contagious! :-( hope you all get your pain/finances/general rubbishness sorted soon :) I am trying to have a positive outlook again - went to physio and they said I don't need to go back woohoo just keep working on building up my walks and a little exercise if I can manage it. Also excited about giving weight watchers simply filling a try - starting on Friday and my book arrived this morning so just been looking through to see what I can have - excited for crumpets and bagels ;-) x

Yum! Have you tried any simply filling days yet Nikki or just sticking to points? I know you can mix and match them but think I'm going to stick to only simply filling :) x

Personally I'm sticking to pp because I can't see the difference between simply filling and SW as there is still no oration control lol x

Thanks very much for the message. You're right about it all getting on top of me - if I break each one down none of it is too bad. I pay for my pt monthly and have quite a few sessions saved up as I hurt my back and couldn't exercise for a month but am going to use those up and then cancel it. She does my measurements once a month and Although there has been progress it's ridiculously slow and my thighs are actually bigger!

I know what u mean about group. I am going to go this week as not sure whether I'm just in a negative mindset about everything but will seriously think about going it alone once I'm back from the states.

Thanks again lovely. You're a star xx

Yeh I know what you mean but I like that it's not too different, hoping that just mixing up what I eat a bit will get my mojo back as it seems to have ran away ;-) x

Not sure if I mentioned it on here, know I did on my diary but you're not all on there. Tesco sell chocolate tea, if you like tea you must try it! Not overly chocolatey more vanilla with a hint of chocolate. It's a lot like the Teapigs chocolate tea that I love but that is nearly a fiver for 15 and Tescos is £1.79 for 50!! Good if you have a sweet tooth like me and syn free :) x

Not overly chocolatey, more vanilla so if you don't like that probably won't enjoy it. I'm loving it been drinking lots of it, when I want chocolate I try 2 cups of that first then if I still fancy the choc I have it :) x
