Anyone in the 9s want to be in the 8's ??

Donna, meant to ask you

What`s pilates like?

Hard to describe, but I love it, I'd suggest it to anyone. In fact me and my mum were saying how we wish we could convince my Nanna to go as it would really do her some good. You don't feel like your doing much but then you do feel the benefit after, a lot of it is on the exercise ball. It's been different each week I've been as well (fair enough I've only been 3 weeks) so it doesn't get boring.

Thought I`d let you all know what I`ve been up to this week, you`ll probably have a laugh at my expense!! I`ve been thinking about this for some time and to me it makes sense. Having lost a considerable amount of weight I had started feeling that my face needed to catch up with the rest of me. So with that in mind, I had a look on youtube. The result, FACIAL YOGA!! I know you can laugh now!! :D Started this week and it claims that you start noticing the difference in two weeks. Haven`t quite got the nerve to practice in front of hubby yet!! He`d fall over laughing!! :D It must look very strange but I`m prepared to give it a go. The thought of a slim body with jowls doesn`t appeal to me. I know it sounds vain. There I`ve said it now. I`ll just sit back and wait to see what you all think. Perhaps I should book myself into hospital now!! :)

Annette I don't think it's silly I think it's good to take pride in your appearance be great to see any difference. Since I turned 40 it's like someone pressed a button and you suddenly find new lines grey hair almost daily... My skin is changing too so Im trying to remember to apply cream everyday I'm not letting myself look old no way... Might take a look at those exercise myself can't hurt x

I don't think facial yoga is daft, is it easy enough to do? Pilate's was great tonight, my mum came along as well. She enjoyed it too. Not sure what to do about running this weekend now, the doctors said my knee was okay and I haven't done any serious damage.... but resting it would not harm it this weekend and that if I do run I shouldn't run far and shouldn't set any miles in mind, just run and if I feel any twangs stop straight away. So I'm not sure whether to not run at all and just do the crosstrainer for a while on Sat... or attempt a run and see how far I get... Don't know if I mentioned it but little one had a little mark on his neck which we noticed on Tuesday, it had steadily gotten worse and is painful when its touched, so I was a bit cheeky and took him into my appointment with me and they think it is a bite or more likely a wasp sting... they've given him some steroid cream in case its infected. I'm surprised though as we didn't think it would be a sting or bite because there is no clear point in it if that makes sense. Just hoping it clears up now he has the cream.

What did the doc think you'd done Donna ?
I'd rest this weekend too x
Hope little un is getting better ouch to a wasp sting xx

Good luck Friday weighers ? x

hey all.
donna why don't you walk for a bit at the weekend? will make you feel like your doing something at least but ultimately take it easy.

facial yoga sounds good. i too feel like age is creeping up ha

well not sure why as i really haven't did anything but eat take away last weekend, drink wine and beer but i am 1lb down.
i think am just happy at the weight i am but going to try and not get complacent and cut out the at night eating. plus get back on here. i think am focused but not enough as little chocolates etc at work are creeping in. haven't counted syns in a long time so maybe i have just gotten into a better eating routine

Hi everyone, loads to catch up on this morning!
Well I'm 1.25 up this morning to 8.11. I have relaxed a bit this week as I was getting obsessed. I still ate properly but I must have gone over syns a few days. Not enough to gain a lb but I'm not going to get to stressed about it. I was at gym everyday too. My kids are off school today so our weekend has started early!! Have a nice day everyone!

Morning everyone. Well done on your pound loss Deb and boo sucks to your pound gain Debbie......cos I'm with you there cos I gained a 1lb as well, but mine is well deserved after the choc fest this week. It really does need to stop, cos I've got too many things against me for gaining weight......inactivity, increase in drugs, toilet dramas!!! cos of the drugs.
Right this week, I will not be a piggy and concentrate a bit more......think I said that last week!!!!

I am in a bit of a dark place at the moment, what with Charlie and my health, not working, no exercise etc, but I'm not really a comfort eater thank goodness, but I can get a bit gluttonish in the evenings with chocolate! Im on plan following EE with an extra Hexb for my granola, but think I may stop that this week and see how I get on. Will have a chat with hubby over the weekend and see if he can come up with some idea for exercise at home cos I dont really like to leave Charlie on her own for too long. She does seem to be deteriorating, which is heartbreaking to see, so you can see why I dont want to go out.
Im surprised I haven't resorted to more 'naughty' food in the day, with the way I'm feeling, but I really mustn't, so I wont lol!

Can anyone check to see if Granola is a HexB for me please. If its not I will be very reluctant give it up, so it might be a bit of a tweak. I only have 30g so its not as if I'm going OTT with it!

Be careful with the granola Kim, it's 5 syns for 25g!!!! And I can't see anywhere that it can be hexB.

40! What`s that? :)

My skin has become so dry - never used to be like that! Grey hairs - inherited my dad`s premature greyness. Started going grey while still at school. Spent the next 30 or so years colouring it. Surprised I`m not bald!! :D

For my 50th I gave myself a treat. A promise not to colour it again. The constant colouring had made it very dry. Almost like a brillo pad!! :)
My hair is now snow white and the condition is better than it has been for years.

Facial exercises going ok!!

We`re all here for you, Kim! Sending you hugs!!

Just had my younger son on the phone in a state of panic!!

Debt collectors were banging on his door this morning. They demanded payment of £10,000 or the would take away the contents of his house to sell at auction! He`s never been in debt!!

Once everyone had stopped shouting at each other he was able to find out what they were talking about. Someone had taken out a payday loan using false details and this is why the debt collectors were at his door. But it gets worse.

When my son saw the paperwork it sent him into a rage. The person named on the debt was his seven year old son. But they were convinced it was my son. It was only when he produced his driving licence and both their passports that the debt collectors believed him!

Not sure what is going to happen now. Someone, somewhere, got a loan and didn`t pay for it. But how can these payday loan companies get their facts so wrong. My grandson is in infants school still learning to read and write! He hasn`t got a bank account and he certainly can`t vote, drive or drink alcohol!! He can`t even go into town on his own. So how can there be a loan in his name?

Hope this is the end of it. But somehow I get the feeling it`s only the beginning :(

Be careful with the granola Kim, it's 5 syns for 25g!!!! And I can't see anywhere that it can be hexB.
However, most cereals if you do the 20 cals per syn work out at approx 120 cals, so 6 syns, which is a hexb. The granola I have works out at 126 calories/6 syns for 30g and 2.7g of fibre. I appreciate that the hexB's are all about the fibre intake with the calories all approx 120, so in theory it equates the same and I know I have a lot of fibre in my diet so that isn't a problem. So, its a big tweak really, but I'm still having the same amount of calories as say a bowl of porridge. I know SW isnt about calories, but in the grand scheme of things it is. Sorry that was all a bit long winded and all I wanted to say was I'm having the granola and its a tweak, so dont take any notice of what I'm doing and thanks for the info Debbie :)

Its such a shame we all have to get old. I get quite upset sometimes when I look in the mirror and see the wrinkles, but hey ho there's bugger all we can do about it........but I wouldnt say no to a little one stitch tuck lol!
You're very brave going to your natural hair colour Annette, cos I would never do that.....I have my hair coloured/highlighted every 10 weeks. When hubby and I go off on our travels in the next 5 years or so, I'm going to have a number 8 all over and still keep it coloured.... no fussing with hairdryers etc when we're touring round Europe! Im going to be a hippy chick lol!

We`re all here for you, Kim! Sending you hugs!!
Thank you so much Annette. Its sometimes rather cathartic to chat away on here and get things off my chest to all my cyber buddies. x
