    HELLO!

    So this is SW round two for me, however I am leaving my previous years diary here for anyone to take a look at :)
    Life has moved so quickly in the past 4 years, and it's challenging being a real adult now instead of a student!


    So, weight wise I am starting SW again heavier than I started last time which definitely put a kick up my butt. I also made the decision to go to a group as I thought paying £5 each week would be a waste if I didn't follow the plan, so hopefully that will increase my motivation.

    My secondary motivation is a diving holiday in Malta in July. Wetsuits will be involved and I'll be damned if I bulge out here there and everywhere! My last weigh in shall be Tue 9th July.
    I'm hoping to lose 1st 2lbs, which works out at 1lb per week. And if I manage to get more than that off in the time, so be it!

    I like to post a tonne of pictures of my meals, and hopefully give some people inspiration
    :D

    I'm trying to make myself more accountable, and would love recipe ideas and ways to use my HExA allowance as I'm always struggling with that one.

    HELLO! i'm Sophie, and currently a student in Sheffield. Followed SW last year as I put on the dreaded freshman 15! Then moved in with the b.f this year, and too many nights sharing a 'pack of biscuits, chocolate, wine ect. caught up with me! So here I am, hoping to keep on plan, and keep it off!

    OK, so here goes my food diary! Although I am starting it a bit late. Any advice/feedback/questions welcome :D

    Saturday 12th - EE

    Breakfast/Lunch - 1.30pm
    2 slices of bacon medallions, beans, 1 slice of WW wholemeal bread (1/2 HEB), egg fried in frylite.

    Snack - Fudge Alpen Light - (1/2 HEB)

    Tea - 4.30pm
    Jacket potato & tuna mayo (5) lettuce & cucumber

    Evening -
    250ml SS milk (HEA), mint choc options (2)
    bag of carrots
    Snack pack of grapes
    2 x fudge alpen lights (6)

    TOTAL SYNS = 13

    I do struggle having a third superfree with a fried breakfast as I don't like mushrooms or grilled tomatos.

    Well, I went to Meadowhall today to go shopping (bought a headband :rolleyes:) so had lunch out for the first time in ages!

    Went to Nosh, and I had a jacket potato with cheese. I did leave a bit of cheese on the side as I really don't like chedder cheese, i'm a red lecister or nothing kinda gal. But i'm going to count it as 2xHEA just to make sure.

    I'm going out tonight so saving all my syns for vodka and diet coke, and i've tried to cut back slightly during the week to compensate also.

    OK, so the damage score!

    1 x Rum & d. coke (2.5)
    1 x vodka d. coke (2.5)
    Small & Meduim Rose (10.5)
    Double Vodka & tonic (5 + 2.5)
    3 x double vodka lemonades (15 + 4.5)
    Apple Sourz shot (5?)

    TOTAL DRINK SYNS = 47.5 :eek:


    The bar I went to ran out of diet coke! So I settled on lemonade which I looked up as 284ml as 3 syns. I have these little cans of coke that are 150ml, which fill up a tall tumbler glass, so took that as the amount put in as mixer, so around two drinks had 3 syns. I think this works out right, as I thought all non diet drinks had a ridiculously high syn count, and assumed lemonade would too? but hey ho!

    After the night I shared a chicken kebab, with a friend. Had salad on it, and left my friend the pitta so not too bad. Worked this as; Large chicken kebab (meat only) on Green = (15.5) had half = Roughly 8 syns.

    Then I went home and had.... a fruit salad!
    *pat on back* nearly ate my b.f's chocolate buttons but resisted :D

    TOTAL SYNS FOR THE DAY= 57.5

    I always struggle to get 1/3 superfree in sometimes. My cooked breakkie had about 1/4 superfree, and I was going to have an apple straight after nando's, but I was so stuffed I couldn't fit it in, so just waited and had strawberries later on to sort of 'make up' not having it in the meal. Not really how EE works, but oh well! tomorrow is another day!

    BIT OF SHOPPING, AIMS FOR THE WEEK, ect!

    bought a pack of sweet potato and butternut squash chunks :D will have to think of what to have with this! might make a soup, or try and separate them and have the squash as roasted as a side on a RED day. They look really similar in colour though, so might have some trouble with that!

    I also bought.... DUM DAHH DUMM...... Some skinless and boneless Basa fillets! I'm trying to incorporate more fish into my diet, as it's good for losses, and a speed/ss food, and adds abit of variety so I don't get bored. I got it for £2 for 4 fillets frozen at Aldi! Bargain! Got a pack of green beans to go with these.

    This week I am aiming for:
    at least 5 portions of fruit and veg
    3 of which are SuperSpeed
    Keep up the 'Moderate' work out of 3 songs per day on Just Dance 2.

    And we've run out of absolutley all food! [strike] I know I haven't had my 2 HEA's, but we didn't have any milk for some mint choc options :( [/strike] OK, so me and the b.f decided to walk to Tescos to get bread and milk :D so hot chocolate for a drink, woo!

    Managed to fit my 5 fruit n veg in today though, but didnt get any superspeed food in though. Will try harder tomorrow!

    OK, so after a two hour lecture, and no back up food in my bag as I had ran out of alpen lights I resorted to... Burger King :eek:. me and all my uni mates were soo hungry we headed to the closest fast food place! Didn't go completely off plan though, so thats something! BK are very good with their nutrition values on the website though!

    I was going to have it with green beans, but I only remebered by the time i'd eaten it all :eek: I made the breadcrumbs by blitzing a slice of wholemeal bread, with some herbs and lemon juice. Next time I don't think i'll bother with the crust, as it is fine without it!

    definately have more than 5 portions of fruit and veg here! I've just counted 8! SuperSpeed food today was; melon and grapes possibly the basa?

    I did go over my syns though for an inpromtu few drinks out. Would have been fine for syns, but my bf came back with a double vodka instead of a single for the last drink! never mind, i'm sure if I have around 10 syns tomorrow it will even out my syn count.

    I'm also missing my two HEA's, but at a loss at what to have as there is only red leicstershire cheese left as I need milk for breakkie tomorrow.... and i only have 1.5 syns left to put it with something.. hmm...

    WI yesterday, 1lb on :(

    I'm not too fussed at the moment, because I know i've stuck to plan, so hopefully it will show next week, especially considering I lost 7lb in my first week. I'm still above average in my weight loss, which is 3lb a week at the moment.

    I was having one of those evening where I just want to eat and eat and eat! Managed to keep the fairys at bay by eating a whole bag of carrot sticks :D

    I then made some spicy sweet potato wedges, but as soon as I put them on my plate, I just didn't want them at all! I think this is a big milestone for me.
