So..... today was a slightly failed day! I did eat around 1500 cal in pizza alone, however, I didn't really eat much during the day, and was stuffed until very late! So i'm sure I won't have done absolutely horrendous damage. Or so I keep telling myself :rolleyes:

I think I may try a few Success Express days to hopefully banish any gain I may experience.

I'm going to a birthday party with a few friends, and apparently there is gonna be lots of food! AAARGH! nooo :( [strike]I just hope they've got some veg sticks! [/strike]

OK, so it turned out to be a half day success express! I'm quite annoyed that i'm being complacent and sabotaging my weight loss efforts. I know I can definately get down to 9st 5lb coz i did it before! So why am I doing this to myself argghhh!

I had half a ham sarnie, cocktail sausages, crab sticks, a cupcake, small sausage roll, crisp medley and satay sticks. To drink I had 4 vodka and diet cokes and 1 vodka with normal coke as a friend bought it for me.

Fail day no. 2 DONE

WI is tomorrow, so I will see the stupid amount of damage my weekend and bad choices will combine to be! But hopefully this will be a new week and a new start!

Today has been such a lovely day! I soaked up the sun in Wetherspoons beer garden, and found out the Chilli con carne is AMAZING there!

It did come out with tortilla chips with it though, so I gave them to my OH to eat *polishes halo* and scraped the sour cream to a side because I don't like it! I assume that were the conditions of the syn value for it anyways, but I still wonder how many syns are in a portion of chips from 'spoons? because 7 for the whole portion is amazing! and how many for just the chilli too, because I would love to have it with a Jacket Pot from there too, omnomnom :D

I then went to the cinema to see Source Code which was really good, and in a fully digital screen which also looked AMAZING!

However, I have discovered that I still really dont like having a glass of cold milk. I thought I could handle it seeing as I loved to drink cold milk when I had a large bar of dairy milk to eat with it. Turns out the chocolate is a necessity, not optional :sigh:

Blab over :D

Morning. Hope you had a good weekend?! :)
Thats my kind of breackfast, melon and strawberrys are my fave fruits. specially when its sunny like this.
Could you not have cheese as your healthy extra a? I dont like milk on its own either, so iv started having babybell, and then have muller for breakfast insted of cerial.

I felt a bit sick after the curry so went to lie down. I then got persuaded to go out to a club, so had a few drinks at home (and went over syns :eek:) but the queue was massive to get in so we left it. I now feel pretty bloated, so won't bother with having a second HEB or HEA, as i'm just using them for no reason really. Tomorrow WILL be a better day! I just bought Zumba for the Wii, so I will do that tomorrow to compensate for the extra syns!

I'm going to post the mushy pea curry recipe in the next post, and what I thought of it ect.

Mushy Pea Curry Recipe

Mushy Pea Curry;
4 portions - FREE ON GREEN

Ingredients;
large tin of baked beans
large tin of mushy peas
6 small mushrooms
curry powder
peppers
onions
rice (follow package instructions)

Cooking;
1. boil some water and add your rice
2. fry the mushrooms, peppers and onions in frylight.
3. add the tins of mushy peas and beans
4. flavour with curry powder to taste
5. add water or vegetable stock to thin sauce

Thoughts;
The curry sauce was pretty nice, really thick and chip shop-esque. I did blend the mixture though, as it did look like beans mixed with mushy pea's at first, but reckon with cooking they would both disintegrate. I also added in quorn chunks at the end, to make it more like chicken curry.

I thought it tasted a bit sickly though, and couldnt eat it all, but my OH just loved it and said it was 'fantastic'!

I think that I just don't get on with curry spices added to food, just doesn't taste as good as ready made jarred stuff in my opinion. Possibly the texture of it put me off, so next time may just blitz the beans and peas first in the blender, then add that to the fried veg. It also could have been too 'sweet' and I have seen other recipes using tinned tomatoes instead of beans, and thought that this might improve the recipe.
