ProPoints Azwethinkweiz (Sarah)s new food diary!

Castleknock would be classed as a 'posh' area.. Not cheap at all! Renting there would be prob one of the more expensive areas.. Lucan would be County Dublin.. Almost back out into the 'country' there.. Lol..
No I wouldn't slag your accent.. I'm nice :D .. In fairness.. I don't think Dubs can slag anyone's accent!! For instance allot of Dubs would say "amn't i" as in "amn't I on WW" for instance... or another one I get slagged for Dubs saying (I dont!) "in anyway..." Ppl would need a Dublin dictionary to come here...
Oh yeah I know Castleknock is posh... Her fella is from there and she moved into _his_ house with him a couple years ago. He earns about 90 grand a year easily lol. V.posh but down to earth at the same time (my family are common as muck and come from a council estate ).
Lucan is almost the country?? Really!? Wow. Well she used to live on Patrick St in an apartment (like 5 floors of stairs, no elevator!) and that was VERY central Dublin lol. But she had a baby 2 years ago and thought somewhere bigger & quieter would be a nicer environment for the child.
Some people around here say "amn't I". I honestly can't stand that. Its like when people say "aks" instead of "ask". Pet peeve of mine :p x

Ha ha,having a good old giggle here in bed,who know there was so much to talk about when I comes to Ireland. The amn't I drives me nuts too. Cork has different problems though. Bloody singing instead of talking.

U lot are mental! Loving the accent crack! No-one famous is Cumbrian :( booooo!!

Well done for using the 18 :) xx

Hee hee. Cork accent is kind of hilarious, its so different to anything else in Ireland! It can be hard to understand if its spoken really fast, I was in cork a few years ago... Nice spot though! X

Yea well its kinda not now.. But years ago it prob wouldn't have even had a Dublin postcode.. Dublin has been stretched out lol.. Estate agents kinda stretched out some areas for ppl who wanted to buy IN Dublin during the boom years.. Lucan is nice tho..
"Aks" does my head in!! My sister says that.. And "crips" for crisps... Grrrrrr....

Dont wana cause any offence to any Corkonians but I hate that accent.. And the Kerry accent!! Sorry..I know I can't slag being a Dub but it drives me crackers... Hugs if i've offended.. I really am nice :D

All of my mums family were from Cork, they all moved to London though, there were loads of them my great nan had 13 kids. I hated family get togethers coz I couldn't understand any of them. I used to look at my mum for a translation. Once the booze started flowing then there wasn't a hope whatsoever! :)
