Nope.. Never had earache either.. The only aches I've ever really had is head.. I suffer with migraine but thankfully not too often.. Maybe once or twice a year..
Bet now that I've said that (typed) I'll be cursed with both at once lol..
Am good ta.. Hangover still lingering in the background but can at least hold down food again.. And its a short week in work for me too so yayy..
Dropped my nephew this morning for his first day in Secondary School.. My babies are all growing up :'(
How are you? Do anything the weekend or been laid up in pain all weekend? x
 
Wow no earache either? I have awful trouble with my ears... Especially in winter. Its a terrible pain. I perforated my ear drum before too... Thought it was normal ear ache and we were putting drops in... On the drops it says "Do not use on perforated ear drums" LOL. I wondered why the pain was getting worse rather than better :p
So yeah. Lucky you ;)
Oh nose... Hangover city. Boooo. Are you in work with a hangover lol? I'm "working" too. Not doin a friggin tap. Having a hard time getting my time in lieu back for the extra days I've worked (we don't get paid any overtime, we're _supposed_ to get the time back... I never have since I started here 3 years ago). xx
Had a quiet weekend. Didn't to anything! Collected the family from airport saturday night. Hung out with my little brother and the dog yesterday haha... Exciting stuff eh? ;)

Heheee, yesss ... im practically a pain specialist as i get patients the second they leave theatre so im a pro in the analgesic ladder .... and askin if you had to score your pain out 10 ......... lol .... Its coool your a psych nurse - hats off to ya .. i dont think i could do it ... my patients are acute ... in and out - if you get me !!

Yea am in work.. But the main hangover was yesterday.. I literally thought I was gona die.. Getting sick for the minute woke up til about 4.. Not good!! Soon as my appetite came back I sent my BF to McD's for my hangover food.. Whoops.. :D
Yea we dont get paid OT for any extra we do.. And they aren't too fond of giving you the time back either.. So I dont EVER stay back.. No matter how urgent something is.. Feck that!! My time is worth millions.. lol
 
I've never had a hangover like that, what were you drinking lol. Totally... Maccie Ds our something similar is SO needed after a hangover like that lol.
I dunno why its so hard to get the time back? Like... I'm owed it? They wouldn't get away with under-paying people yet they get away with making them work OT for free? Boss hasn't gotten back to me on my time in lieu yet. If I'm lucky he'll offer me 2 days (even though I did about 7 days OT altogether). Ridiculous situation. I try to leave bang on half 5 these days cuz I'm sick of being taken for granted..

Oh God I get the worst hangovers these days.. Killer..
I drank a 350ml bottle Smirnoff.. Then coz it was all gone I had some rose wine.. BIG MISTAKE!! I shud have stopped when the vodka was gone.. Greedy I am!!
But was very proud of me... When I drink I eat everything around me.. And the girl (who owned the house I was in) had cupcakes n sandwiches and crisps all laid out.. I didn't eat a morsel.. Then she had finger food delivered from the chipper, cocktails sausages, chicken wings, chicken tenders, battered mushrooms, onion rings.... And still I didn't eat a thing!! So proud!! :D
 
My god girl. That is a lot of drink!! I'd have puked long before that. Doesn't take much to get me drunk now cuz I went off the drink for a while. So I gotta be careful nowadays. Last time I was drunk was in may when I went on a girls weekend to birmingham. Was drinking pitchers of cocktails but drinks aren't half as strong as they are here I don't think! You feel better today I hope... No more puking? Poor chick? Did you take anything? Headache tablets or andrews or something? Sounds terrible.
Good for you not eating the tasty things... I would've scoffed them for sure lol!! Xx

Don't ask how but for once (in my life!! haha) I didn't want anything.. if I had wanted I'd have defo had it.. Even just a little but I'd have had something..
Its not really that much drink.. Sounds allot there but its just a shoulder of vodka.. considering we started drinking at about 6:30 and got home at 2:30 so it wasn't that much..
Stopped being sick about 4pm yesterday.. Before that I couldn't even take anything for my head coz even water made me sick.. I'm sure I'd have been fine if I hadn't had the wine.. Its when I mix my drinks I get that kind of hangover.. Normally I'd be tired and prob a sore head.. Dont get sick too often.. I'd never drink if I did.. Am not good at being ill.. Feel SUPER sorry for myself..

Ah its a good bit, I can't drink that much voddy anymore... I do love it though hehe. What did you mix it with? Yeah I can't mix wine and vodka either... Well I can have like 2 voddies and 2 glasses of wine and be ok... Just if I'm drinking a good bit I couldn't mix it either. Ooooh my tummy is churning just thinking about it.

My mixer is always diet 7up/Sprite Lite..
And I've a hangover to look forward to Saturday too.. No point saying I wont have one.. I'll just do my norm and take 2 pain killers before getting in to bed.. So they'll stop it getting too bad hee hee (hopefully)

Yeah. Drink a big glass of water too... Before you go to sleep I mean. That helps me with the headache :) x

I was going to say the dental clinic in hospital 2 - just after i moved house & i wasn't registered with a dentist & no-one would see me!!! My mouth was swollen so i could hardly talk - found an 'emergency' dental phone number on nhs website & they helped me loads, told me to go to a specific hospital with a dental clinic - you just pay a small fee when you walk in, think it was £9?
Then nice dentist gave me a prescription for antibiotics & told me to rinse mouth with warm salt water - helped so much!
Really hope you can get out of pain soon - toothache turns me into a Rage beast! ;)

I am a total rage beast right now. I havent heard of an emergency dentist here or dental clinic in hospitals or anything like that?? All I can see is an emergency "treatment" which you in fact pay MORE for than if you had a regular appointment. So I dunno. The hospital near me is ***** though, they're way too overcrowded at the best of times. My OH told me to put bonjela on it... dunno if that'll work. I actually got a really sharp stinging on one of the teeth from doing this so not sure whether thats good or bad or what!! xx

Hahaha try your best to be good Frances, thats all I ask ;) You seem fairly good at getting water into ya anyways! :D xx
 
Bonjela may keep it at bay as its mainly for babys and i assume they dont experience as much pain in their teeth as us ?? but who knows - i cant rem ...... lol .. do u have 'nhs walk-ins' in your area?!!! they could prob refer you to the appropriate emergency dental care place. xxxxx

Give the warm water with salt a go hun, just try & swish it round your mouth for 30 seconds
Bonjela works well on my gums but doesn't cause pain so not sure... hope it eases off till you can go to dentist next month x

NHS Walk in's? What are they? Sounds a bit more organised over there haha. Healthcare ain't something great over here. I'm apparently not "poor enough" to have a medical card so I gotta pay in full for treatments I cant afford at the mo :( Sure I don't even go the docs when I'm feeling really poorly because its near 50 quid a go. Then you gotta pay the prescription after that. I will try salt and water later too, thanks chick. The bonjela hasnt really done anything to be honest... nearly just using it shut my OH up (and he's making me use it to try to get ME to shut up lol). xx
 
We dont have anything like that in Ireland.. Irelands healthcare is RUBBISH!! €100 to be seen in A&E.. That's before any treatment starts!! €55 to see yer GP and then whatever the cost of yer prescription.. Thankfully as I've said I've never had toothache so dont have any idea what a dentist costs.. My check ups and teeth cleaning are covered by my VHI so they're free.. Our welfare dentists will only see you up to the age of 16.. Then yer on yer own... Ireland sux when it comes to healthcare
