have you tried CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy) for your depression? I found it really good for my depression and sorting out depressed thoughts, you can do it yourself or else go to a CBT therapist..I would recommend "Overcoming Depression" by Paul Gilbert and "Feeling Good Handbook" by David Burns, there are loads of CBT books and they'll all work once you put them into practice but I've used the overcoming depression one and I've heard so much positive things about the other book!

This link here Challenging Depressed Thinking - Students Against Depression is like an introduction to CBT. This is prob the best website I've found on depression so hope it helps you too! :)

I do find exercise really good too, yoga and mindfulness are good to chill out, relaxing music is good, reading, writing..hobbies definitely help, also socialising and keeping busy. I do lots of pampering sessions and that makes me feel good too!

I feel a bit better today but not 100% if you know what I mean... Getting there. I just need to be thinking positive, my stupid brain bullies me though. :(
Maybe I should do that 3 positives a day I see Carrie and Carly doing... Try and keep meself focussed. I found an old leather bound notebook and gonna use it as my mood diary I think!! Thanks for the lovely comments ladies, ye are stars! :) x

Yesterdays food...

Heinz spaghetti -7pp

Used 6 weeklies today... Still have 7 weeklies for today and tomorrow. Ok trying to think of 3 positives now too.

1. Kept my mind off the "bad" stuff and actually had an ok day (and managed a good sleep!!)

2. My OH commented on how loose my jeans are and how easily he could wrap his arms around me :)

3. That chicken fried rice dinner I had... I actually couldn't finish it!! And I used to finish that dinner no probs and still want more. (I know that's prob no big deal but I was shocked at myself when I realised I was full and then just stopped eating it).

So there we go... 3 positives, I think this is actually beneficial for me forcing myself to think of some positives everyday :) Hope all my lovelies are well? X

Yay to being able to stop eating when you were full!! I still need to learn to do that..
I force it all in so i dont have to cut points off it.. As u kno I have trouble filling them so that's my excuse..

I actually have no jeans that fit anymore MrsLmc... its belt-city here these days lol. The ones I have on today SAY they're size 12 but they must not be because they're really loose on me. They are River Island kinda a "boyfriend" fit so maybe thats why they're loose lol. Still a good feeling... I hate jeans shopping though... I gots a big kaboose! xx

Fran course you could think of positives... I'll think of positives FOR you hehe. If I can think of 3 anyone can LOL. Yeah I was shocked I'd gotten full so quickly. I seem to have days where I'm mad hungry and then days where I'm forcing the food in.. very strange. I dunno how you survive on your measly amounts ;) xx

I hate jeans shopping too.. U can never find a colour n shape n arse pockets that you like on 1 friggin pair!! And if yer me n have huge hips/bum, ya can NEVER find a pair that fit properly!!!!

I have big hips/bum... its very difficult find jeans that fit them but also fit my waist. Annoying!! I have one pair of black jeans that I wanna get into comfortably (I can fit in them but its a stretch lol). Whenever they fit nicely, I'll be pretty pleased! I hate shopping full stop, nothing seems to suit me these days!? LAME...

Awwwh I wish I had tomorrow off. My OH fancies the cinema tomorrow night and its night before weigh in so I'll need to be good... I've never gone to the movies without having something before :(

Told ya you could think of 3! No bother to you. I thought of those this morning after a nice nights sleep and I'm actually in a pretty good mood today (maybe I'm bipolar... wouldnt that be ridiculous!?).
You should be chuffed... I was chuffed after reading back mine... I was like "YEAH! 3 freakin' positives, sometimes I CAN have a good day!"
Jeans these days seem even smaller to me (and I'm not talking about the fact that I'VE put on weight lol) I mean when I'm holding them up by the waist, I'm like "is that really a size 10, seems so tiny?!" and then I wonder how/if I was ever that size lol. Most jeans seem to be made to fit people who have no ass and hips I think... stick insects i.e. NOT me :(
