Well I was doing so well and then on Sunday I just toppled off the wagon, was in a foul mood, unhappy and just not in a good place and I ate ...But I wish I hadnt, I got up yesterday and I put 2lbs on in just the one day, so not happy, went straight back onto LT yesterday though and got up today and have lost 1lb of it but still another to go, hopefully il lose it by tomorrow and then il be back to square one again...boy do I feel awful though for doing it as its knocked me out of ketosis and put a few pounds on... Just not having a good week at all and just feel like throwing the towel in today.

Anyway thats enough of my moaning im sure il be back to my normal self tomorrow and hopefully be getting back into ketosis.

Hope everyone's doing better than I am :(

    Hi Blondie

Eh - what is done is done......you have to now move on sweetie! No point worrying about it (and hide those blooming scales) ;-)!!!!!!!!!!

It happens to the best of us, but you have to try and learn from it and realise your trigger points. If you feel like that again, just get out of the situation if you can or come on here and just rant and rave and someone will be able to just help you along.

It is a hard road, but you know, it will reward you in the end. But, you also need to be honest with yourself and ask if you are able to live without food. Not an easy question, but LT means no food....if you think it is too difficult; dont put yourself through the torture. Maybe SW or WW or something like that is better suited????? I dont know, but if you think it is for you, then, go for it and just decide you cant have food, no matter what! But, only for a short while...

I think the fact you have jumped back on LT is good, so, now you cant look back! Just keep looking forward and like i said, it has happened, so move on. But, also, really look at the reasons why you eat. My big problem was comfort eating, but I have tried to take this time during LT to understand why I punish myself with gorging on food!! Only me I am hurting, and you are the same. Dont let it happen....you are worth more than that.

At least you have come on and confessed (so to speak).....today is another day and here's hoping next week is better.

    Sorry for waffling, yet again!!!!

    Take care

Thanks scotsmist, I do comfort eat and im terrible for it, I think id just had such a bad wkend that i just ate food, hubby was away all day as well, maybe if he wasnt home it wouldnt of bothered me but it did, and yes your right I need to get over it, I think it just depressed me to see those scales go up again instead of down and it was all through my own doing.

I can do it and will continue, ww and slim world are not good for me at all, I find that I spend my whole day thinking about food and deciding what to eat and its just not good.

Thanks for your help the rant is appreciated :)

    Hi Blondie,
sorry you felt the need to eat, I echo all that Scotsmist has said.
We have to take a strong look at our relationship with food and see what our triggers are, so when they arise we deal with them in an 'non food' way.
Hold on in there you will be back in ketosis soon and will start to feel much better.
    Wishing you all the best.

    hi blondie,

it is okay hun, maybe you needed that to get more determained. Now you know what it felt to be dissapointed maybe this is going to help you stay on course in the weeks to come.

Eventhough the weight loss on this program is quick and results are in everyday, you need to put the scales away babes, stick to your weekly weigh ins.
It is more exciting to lose weight in a bulk then in tiny amounts in a day.
I am sure you are going to do great. We all feel what you feel trust me, You are not alone.

    Have some flowers hun :flowers:

It is a hard diet to get your head around when you are not use to it and it is automatic for a lot of people to comfort eat when they find themselves in several situations (I am defo one of them) but the key is just put it behind you and start again. When I cheated I really could have kicked myself for getting out of ketosis but you can soon get back into it. Already today I have messed up without thinking as I am only on day 2 and had some chewing gum while waiting at the hospital (I just did not give it a thought until it was in my mouth) so I am really going to have to put my mind to what I am doing.

Good luck this week, it is well worth it, having to put my ticker back up a stone was a killer for me this week but I know I can get it back off, I have before.

Listen, we all have bad days and good days :) Just remember why you are doing this, and to be honest, the stricter you are the quicker you will get to your goal weight and then you can learn to eat healthily :-!! Great incentive really!

hang in there girl and move forward and get rid of those scales ;-)! Am I repeating myself ;-)!! I know.......sorry!!

    Hi

just want to say I understand where you are coming from. I too had a bad weekend and let myself completely down..and am ashamed to say I gained the 4lbs that I lost in the space of 2 days

I can't get my motivation back, I'm still reading this site daily, but despite it helping me get back on track before with all the inspiration and motivation on here... I don't know where my head is, not in a good place obviously, I'm upset as I was so determined and NEED to lose all this weight. My hubby was away all last week too, so I'm blaming comfort eating, but I've got to stop the excuses and give myself a good kick up the backside..but for some unknown reason, its just not happening. I'm sad, annoyed and frustrated.
Sorry for the moan, just want to support you by knowing you are not alone. Well done for getting back on track..wish that lightbulb would switch on in my head the way it has in the past

    Hi Rainbow

You can do it girl!!!!! Dont give in..just think if you nip it in the bud now, in a few weeks time you will be dancing knowing you have done it!

Where abouts in Scotland you from? I am originally from Glasgow, but been living in good old England for 17 years!

Keep coming on here; read inspirational stories and it will help you...it is only you that can do this and dont let that old feelinig of feeling sorry for yourself take over, cause it will only get worse! Not eating isnt that bad when you think about it. Yes uncomfortable for the first few days, but when you start to see the weight coming off, it spurs you on week after week. Plus, it isnt for ever either,,,you will be able to eat again one day!

Come on, get on the LT Wagon again and join us and get your positivitiy back :)

RAINBOW, JUST NOTICED, YOU ARE NOT ON LT...WELL, THAT DOESNT MATTER, STILL PICK YOURSELF UP AND GET ON WITH YOUR HEALTHY EATING :)! SORRY, JUST ASSUMED YOU WERE ON LT!! APOLOGIES
