Beccs I noticed you've added cornflour to the SP Chicken. I haven't got that on my cut/paste from the last time you mentioned it. Is this a recent addition.

Also can you or anyone else clear up the cornflour amount we can have. I have seen tablespoon and teaspoon in different areas. Dr D says in the book 'that a teaspoon of cornflour can help thicken any sauce'. So as the book doesn't mention tolerateds at all, and its only on other sites we find the details can anyone shed light on which it is!

Hiya DF, I've found more than one reference (including a DR D chat) which says it's one tablespoon per day.

Not sure how you didnt have the cornflour because the recipe on the recipe thread is a cut and paste of the one I posted earlier on my diary!! If you didnt want tolerated you can omit the cornflour, its still nice. I do that when I make the BLT chicken salad!
And as P said, I count 1 tablespoon as 1 tolerated.

Help! My anti exercise demons are ganging up on me!:( I am finding it increasingly difficult to wake up for my exercises, I really have to push. I think its compounded by the change in season as it is really dark at 6am and perhaps my body thinks its still sleep time! I am getting bored as well of doing the same thing every morning so maybe if I mix them like 1 day 6pack, 1 day Shred and another turbofire? :confused:I am stressing over this thinking the demons are here, next I will be doing the same about the diet, then I will give up, then I will be back where I started!!!! :(

Food for today : Day 125 PP
Breakfast
1/2 egg sandwich
chocolate hazelnut oatbran bar

Lunch
1/2 egg sandwich
left over meats from the grill
coconut and vanilla yogurt

Dinner
chicken and bacon omlette
baked amaretto cheesecake

Fluid intake
1.5l water
3 cups coffee
2 cup green tea

Exercise
Day 10 6week 6pack DVD
Turbofire stretch 10 class
 
I will post a picture when i next attempt it, the cornflour sticks to the pan and burns :/ i do use frylite with it. Also sorry for pestering as i gueas ur gunna put it on the receipe thead but how do u make ur oatbran bars? Xx

Leah do you dry your meat before mixing with spices? You also need a good non stick pan to cook effectively with fry lite. The other thing is heat, make sure pan is hot before putting meat but then turn to very low heat afterwards!

No need to apologise we are here to help each other. I bought the Oatbran bars from the website. They are bril and very chocolatey. 2 portions tolerated per bar though! I absolutely love them.

I don't know how you exercise at 6am in the morning Becky!!! I'm still half asleep even when I arrive at work.

It can be tough to remain motivated. I'm finding it hard to exercise at home, as there are too many distractions. Definitely try mixing it up so you don't get bored, maybe have a stand by DVD if you can't face the longer intense workouts? The 10 minute solution DVDs are good for those lazy days.

You're food is looking amazing as always!!! :)x

Thanks hunni, I have no clue how I missed it, I cut and paste into word, the only thing I do different is I don't add the onion. LOL, it works very well without the cornflour and is devine. One of my faves for sure. :character00100:



Noooo you can't give up, do the alternating days for your exercise, make it a bit more exciting maybe. You are donig great hun.
 
Becca thanks for bread recipe, this is the one I make quite a bit. Thought it might be useful to note other microwave times.

I do my bread at 600W for 3 mins. Comes out really nice.

No i just take the meat out the packet, cut it up then marinate it lol. I use a Tefal Wok (maybe i need a new one, this has been with me for a year now lol) and i always get worried when its cooking becauae the middle is still raw so i end up chopping it all in to tiny chunks so it cooks though!

Oooh i see, so if u have 1 bar, then that is both of ur tolerated items for the day? Xxx
 
Becky, there's no such thing as exercise demons, don't give yourself the luxury of thinking it's some force outside your control that's trying to stop you exercising! The truth is, doing dvd's at home is very boring unless you can get someone else to do them with you. Why don't you make yourself a virtual star chart and promise yourself a reward at the end of the 6 weeks? Or join the new exercise thread on here? Or be inventive and add some variety, as you do with your cooking? The truth is, I can only peddle an exercise bike for half an hour if I'm listening to Radio 4 or watching something good on the telly - but I suppose those aren't options if you're watching a dvd unless you know it so well that you can turn the sound down and put the radio on. Keep going though, it's worth it x
 
:greenapple:-5lb off this week. No there is no party, there is a disco :party0023:. I have met my target and over by 1lb and its a week early!! :) You should have seen the renewed zeal I did my exercises with this morning. Hopped on the scale and got -4lb, but I didnt believe it so I hopped on again (which is against my principles! :D) and sure it was -4lb. Then I went to the toilet and thought I have heard people losing after the loo, so went back on and i had lost another lb!! :) Really chuffed, next week hopefully the 12s will come my way!!! I honestly can't believe I am talking 12s.

Food for yesterday: Day 126 PP

2 boiled eggs

Thanks Ceri. The only way and probably time I can do it is in the morning, once the day starts I probably wont sit down until bed time! Will try mixing up!

If the meat is dry then thats fine. The other thing is the meat should be in one layer and turn it one by one rather than stir it! Your pan should be fine as long its still non stick, if you know what I mean. I bought linea ones from House of fraser as they were £30 buy one get one free. My pan is mine and my boys know not to touch it, I dont wash it everytime, usually wipe it with kitchen roll!!!

Yes unfortunately the bar is 2 tolerated but to be honest I personally dont pay heed to the rule (and I am not encouraging anyone to be naughty!!!). I am lucky perhaps exercise cancels it but I seem not to have enough to stall. I usually stop all if I have a target to meet or if i feel I have slowed down.
