Blue is my favourite colour..... Lexies journey

Not liking this daily weighing this week!! Friday official weigh in was 185.0, yesterday 185.4 & today 186.0. I will have to work extra hard at the gym to sort that out!! I don't think it is a real gain if you get me but I don't want it there... Haven't been drinking as much water this week so need to sort that out pronto. Have gym planned for Tuesday & Wednesday & possibly even Friday but I will have weighed in again by then. Realised today that in 3lbs though I am 3/4 of the way through my journey although as I get closer to it I think "hmmm should I go for 10 stone instead of 11"

Starting C25K again tomorrow but on the treadmill as it'll be kinder on my knees.... Excited & nervous at the same time

You'll do great. I like the idea of a program that you build up to and feel the achievement at the end. If I could run 5 doors down the street I'd be doing well! Hope you've got comfy trainers, you've gotto look after your feet and knees. Now you've got those pins toned, you gotta make sure you can strut about to show them off!

Have proper runners, went to our specialist running shop in January when I tried road running, they were £90 & have a metal support inside as I overstep. They are like slippers & smell nearly as bad now lol!

Honestly my body is like a yoyo this week, back up to 186.0 but I've had a really good loss last 2 weeks so I am expecting a sts this week, will however try everything to get a loss but won't be gutted if I don't - you may all have to remind me of that come Friday though x

Good luck with the running, I started the C25K and I can honestly say that it wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. I had to give up after 4 weeks as I developed some sort of hip ache. I really would like to get back into it, i just need to motivate myself to do it.

I did it, day one week one completed!!!! When I tried before I only ran 6 minutes (4 one minute & 4 30 seconds) but tonight I did the lot! Likely to ache tomorrow but feel so chuffed I did it!

Had an emotional day today, my stepdad isn't well & I've been with mum while he had emergency gallbladder removal. He's still sedated in icu as they dont want him awake. it's a worrying time, I'm just praying he will improve enough overnight to be woken up tomorrow

Good news about the running yay.... Big bugs about your mum and dad... Thinking of you x

Friend who I'm meant to go to the gym with has cried off but I'm still going to go...

No change really with stepdad, he's still sedated & asleep. They'd tried to wake him but he's fought them & they suspect that was the breathing tube being in so they may have to do a tracheaotomy before they try again.... His gallbladder was gangrenous & poisoned other things as they didn't get it out all in one go so he's still very poorly

Ouch next time when an app tells me not to run 2 days in a row I'll listen, had to give up half way through with ouchy knees!

Ouch ouch ... Rest days are very important x

Still thinking of you and your family. I hope your stepdad is comfortable, and that things improve for him over the comming days. I glad to see that you've made the committment to yourself and are keeping up with your plan too, but do take care not to overdo it x

Well I truly believe a miracle happened yesterday & thank you for all your kind thoughts & some special prayers. My stepdad has woken up & is off his ventilator. He is still very poorly but I'm so relieved he is awake & breathing for himself.

Weight wise today is weigh in but I'm currently laying in bed.... Not expecting a loss & up to yesterday there wasn't one showing but I accept that I've had a good loss past 2 weeks so I'll be ok with a sts, better not see a sodding gain though. Have to admit to too many finger licks yesterday when baking for the nurses!!!!!

Today is our nephews wedding, I have finally settled on an outfit, it's a black prom style dress (think 1950s) with pink & white & red pattern on it & I've a little pink cardi to go over it as it's a wee bit big on my bust. I've not decided on shoes yet but they'll be black. Yet to decide whether to have my hair up or down, it's not really long enough to go up so think I'll go for down as its not a hot day. Am hoping someone will take a photo that for the first wedding I can remember I won't hate!!!!

Stepdad is still in ICU but he's eaten something now albeit soup followed by jelly & icecream. They are still worried about his kidney function & his bp has been a little high but he normally has meds for that which they'd not had him on as it was low for 48 hours after his op. I was worried as not going to see him today but his nurse assures me he's ok & that she would go to the wedding if it was her dad.... May get chance to pop up between day & night do...

Sorry to read about your step dad Lexi, hope he improves quickly and hope you have a great time at the wedding. Your outfit sounds lovely.
