Body analysing scales

[Zest for Life]

Bought some body analysing scales, measure, fat, water, muscle. But I'm 51% fat. 39% water and 27% muscle.
But surly it should only add up to 100?
If you add %figures together they come to 117? So my body is 117%. Confused!
Anyone???

I'm not sure how they work but you would think that it'd only add up to 100% also I'm not sure anyone would weigh 51% body fat? I could be wrong but I hope you get sorted x

My body fat used to be 53% so it is possible.

Some muscle will include water, maybe it's counted twice? Most scales aren't very accurate for those measurements anyway to be honest.

You also have bones in your body so it wouldn't add up to 100% really would it lol
