Just wondered if anyone on here was a Book-keeper and could give me any advice about starting up/working from home. Im completing my bookkeeping course and computerised accounts course this coming september so just looking at career options. Thanks in advance

I am an employed Sage girl, but would be very interested to see how you get on.

You might want to look at the forums on the accountingweb site regarding self employment. I had a quick look and it seems quite complicated...practice certificates, money laundering monitoring, insurance etc. Some people just juggle a few part-time jobs and let the employer worry about the red tape.
