ProPoints Boo's (Emma's) WW journey to losing 10 stone

Hi everyone! Finally got around to sorting out a food diary after being on WW 10 weeks now.

I hope it gives inspiration to others & shows that WW PP is a lifestyle change not just a diet & that it works with your life too.

A little about me - I'm a supplier quality engineer in the automotive industry & travel worldwide with my job so 'dieting' can be very difficult when you're plane hopping all the time but 10 weeks ago decided enough was enough & plucked the courage up & walked into my first WW meeting.
Best thing I did & now 10 weeks later I am 24.5lbs lighter & loving it.

I preplan all my meals as it helps me to stay in control of my points & not go astray. :(

I will post todays eats later. Hope everyone has a good Sunday. xx

Hi Emma and welcome...well done on your weight loss so far ...its brilliant...keep up the good work...look forward to reading more x

Wow - that's great! I have over 10 stone to lose, so any help and inspiration is greatfully received. I will def be reading with interest

  • 2 medium Onion, All Types, thinly sliced
  • 2 clove(s) Garlic, crushed
  • 20 g Ginger, Root, 2cm (1 inch) piece peeled & grated
  • 450 g Lamb, Boneless Leg Steak, Lean, Raw, cut into chunks
  • 1 tablespoons Mixed Spice, (rogan josh powder)
  • 1 can(s) Tomatoes, Whole or Chopped, Canned, chopped

  • Spray a large non-stick pan with low fat cooking spray. Heat, add onions and sauté for 3-4 minutes, until softened. Add garlic and ginger and cook for 30 seconds. Add lamb chunks and cook until browned - about 5 minutes. Stir in spice powder.
  • Add tomatoes, tomato puree and stock. Simmer, partially covered, for 30 minutes, or until the meat is tender, adding more stock, if needed. Season.
  • Serve the lamb. Garnish with lime wedges and coriander sprigs.

Thanks for the recipe Emma, sounds delicious, I will give it a go as I am eating chicken and steak most of the time so lamb will be a nice change.

Just done a zumba class & I'm buzzing now! Thats the only problem doing the late class - I'm now wide awake.

Driving to Walsall tomorrow as I have to audit a supplier & then back down there again on Wednesday to audit another supplier so food choices tomorrow will be difficult.
So I will have my porridge before I go & take a couple of apples, a bottle of water & some chopped carrots to munch on in the car.

Tea for tomorrow is toad in the hole especially requested by my OH. Its ages since we've had owt like that.

Gonna quickly walk the dog & then to bed. xx

Was in Willenhall yesterday auditing a supplier but still managed to stay within my points. Will update yesterday & todays eats later as I've to dash out now & drive down to Birmingham today to audit another supplier.

Hope everyone has a good day. :) xx

Hope you don't mind me following your diary! Lots of variety but I have to say your inches lost is amazing!!

Well done!! x

thanks for the recipe Boo will be trying i at the weekend sounds delish ...your havin a busy week by the sound of it ..must be earning plenty of ap's x

Finally in the office after shooting off to another supplier this morning.
I'll update food diary later today for Tuesday, Wednesday & today.
I've just been so busy. I was still working on emails until 10pm last night & I was back out at a supplier by 7.15am this morning.
Thank god the car assembly plants have summer shut downs that start tomorrow for 2 weeks. I may get a bit of peace & quiet.

Hope everyone is having a good week? x
