    I think its a great idea to keep a food diary on here. That way I can see if I'm eating enough fruit and veg etc (or eating too much of the wrong thing!).Plus I have a brain like a sieve that conveniently forgets if I've ate anything Synful!:D I'm sticking with the old fashioned green and original days as am working from an old book and going it alone.

    So, todays menu:GREEN DAY

    Breakfast: Nimble toast (HEB), Beans and fried egg (no oil)

    Lunch: Roast chicken (HEB), potato's, parsnips, carrots, sprouts, Yorkshire pudding (3 syns), gravy (2 syns)

    Dinner: Jacket potato, cheese (HEA), onion, quorn fillet

    Drinks: Few coffees (HEA), litre of water (more if I can manage it)

    Snacks: Fruit, activia yoghurts

    Exercise - Hours walk

    Breakfast: Scrambled eggs
    Lunch: Yoghurt, fresh fruit, brown roll (HEB), Cheese (HEA)
    Dinner: Cabbage, New potatos and quorn fillets, gravy (1 syn)

    Snacks: Fruit
    Drinks Coffees (HEA), water

    Exercise - not sure yet! May go swimming if I can be bothered :D

    Looking good. I stick to the GREEN days,(am veggie anyway) I really don't GET EE........ having grown up with mum doind red and green days.

    I love Green days Honey, all that pasta and potatos...I'm in heaven!:)

    I'm working from an old book, so probably some things have changed but seems to be working so far!

    Hey it's Bumblebum from the Sunday thread! :wavey:

    Your diaries look good. I am GREEN every day too. All that veg and the double healthy extras - what is not to like? LOL

    Good to see you are exercising too and recording it. I am lazy so have set myself a challenge to exercise every day this week.

    I think it is important to set little challenges for yourself when you are doing SW at home.

    Keep up the good work and see you Sunday, if not before x

    Hi there silly sausage!

    Yes, though a diary would help keep me on track. Seems to be working so far.

    Todays menu looks a bit like this:

    Breakfast: Yoghurt, strawberries and grapes

    Lunch: Pasta with pesto (4 syns) Apple

    Dinner: Salad, chicken (HEB), jacket potato with cheese (lot of cheese so HEA AND HEB)

    Snacks: Yoghurt. Fruit,

    Exercise: Forcing myself to go swimming!


    Drinks: Coffee (HEA), water

    Struggling to eat my syns so trying to incorporate them into my meals. Not working very well so far though!!

    Yay, I DID go swimming last night! (mind you, OH had to physically push me out the door to get me to go...did 28 lengths without dying..most pleased with myself!:D)

    Today is another Green day. Yesterday I changed my mind in the afternoon about what I was having for tea...so don't take the following as gosepl..there may be changes!!:D

    Breakfast: Activia yoghurt, coffee
    Lunch: Yoghurt, strawberries and grapes, brown roll (HEB), chicken (HEB)
    Dinner: Jacket potato, cheese (HEA), roast vegetables, quorn fillet

    Snacks: Cheesestring (got to check the syns), banana
    Drinks:coffee (HEA), water

    Exercise: Exercise bike if I can work up the enthusiasm!:D

    Another Green day...(sensing a pattern here:D). Also, planning on going swimming again tonight!!:) Twice in one week....I must be ill!

    Anyway...todays menu....

    Breakfast: Yoghurt, Strawberries and grapes

    Lunch: Salad with potatos, eggs and chicken (HEB)

    Dinner: Quorn Cottage pie

    Snacks : Fruit

    Drinks : Few coffees (HEA) and water. Oh and...ahem...a couple of glasses of wine methinks!

    Still slacking on the syns but am sure I will make up for that in a few glasses of wine the weekend:D

    Well, didn't get to swimming last night. Little munchkin had a bedtime meltdown and would only go with mummy. So by the time he was asleep it was too late to go:(. Still, plan on going at some point over the weekend.

    Anyhoo....todays menu (subject to last minute changes:p)

    Green Day:

    Breakfast: Yoghurt

    Lunch: Savoury rice, banana, apple

    Dinner: Jacket potato, mince mixture (HEB) with onions, carrots etc, cheese (HEA), yoghurt

    Snacks: Not sure yet

    Drinks: Coffee (HEA), water, couple glasses of wine

    Exercise: Walking round sainsbugs!:p

    Todays main aim: Avoid the cakes, jam tarts and pizza I've just made!!:D

    Green day today:

    Breakfast: Nimble bread(HEB), beans and egg

    Lunch: Jacket potato, cottage cheese and a banana

    Dinner: Chicken Chow Mein, I know I know!!!!! But it WAS a ready meal :))

    Snacks: Yoghurt, fruit

    Drinks: Coffee (HEA), water , wine:D(syns!)

    Dinner: Chargrill turkey (HEB), stuffed peppers (rice and veg), cheese (HEA)

    Snacks: yoghurt, fruit

    Exercise...not decided yet. May swim later.

    Drinks : Coffee (HEA), aim for 2 litres of water

    Lunch: Mugshot (just discovered these, yumyum!!!), Nimble bread (HEB), Banana

    Dinner: Roast Turkey (HEB), carrots, peas, sprouts, potatos and parsnips, Gravy (1 syn)

    Drinks: Coffee (HEA), 2 litres water

    Breakfast - 2 egg omelette
    Lunch - Mugshot, Banana
    Dinner, Jacket potato, Cheese (HEA), chicken (HEB), baked beans
    Snacks: Yoghurt, fruit

    Exercise - 10 mins on exercise bike
