Can I spend nectar points in store?

Can somebody who shops at Sainsbury's let me know if I can just spend points in store?

I am just trying to work out if I can if to do my weekly shop there or not this week as I have just short of £30 worth of points.

If not what else can I spend them on??

I think they can just swipe your nectar card (like a credit card) and deduct the points that way, that certainly happens at Argos. I think the info on the nectar website is pretty helpful in terms of how you can spend points if you fancy a browse.

yeah they can, if you go to self service it is easy and click on the symbol for the card and if you have enough points it says you can use them (I think minimum is 500points to spend)

If you go to the Nectar website you can see what else you can spend your points on. One thing I'm saving up for ATM is cinema tickets
