Changing groups?

Wondered if anyone could answer a quick question for me.

I'm going to SW with my mum and cousin and we've been going on a Wednesday. The trouble is its a bad day for me as my daughter has things on that evening as well.

We want to switch group to a Thursday, but my cousin has bought a countdown and doesn't know if it will be transferable to a different class. In anyone's experience has this been a problem?
