Are you still running first thing?

Yep, 6am every day :) though it was really dark when I got up this morning - put such a downer on things! Ran 5km in 30 mins this morning but tomorrow I'm going to do an incline interval run rather than going for speed - supposed to tone thighs and bum! Like running up a hill - going to be hard! X

Yeahhhh, good luck with that! lol

Yeah, it was a shock to leave my house while it was dark this morning - it had been light for about 3 or 4 weeks! Was lovely to get home in daylight though!!

Funny enough I was looking at the fererro rocher recipe today but they sound a bit to tempting! X
The ones I made are really small, and 1 syn each so I'm going to have a couple after lunch to stop me raiding the biscuit tin in the classroom! Only problem is - I now have a jar of nuttella to avoid! x

I've been running on and off for a year or so, but only recently started seriously running. I run for 30 mins before work every morning and have Sundays as a rest day - I usually manage just over 5km. I could probably run further but I'm going for speed and aerobic workout rather than distance :) I absolutely love the 'runners high' you get after going for a run - know the feeling?!

With regards to running further - slowing the pace is key. Slower and further is better than going faster and wearing out before you've reached your target distance! Are you running on Tarmac? If so, please make sure you have running shoes and perhaps invest in some insoles (approx £10) if you can as they make a world of difference. I bought a treadmill a couple of weeks ago and have been running on that - best thing I ever bought (even if I did have to save for ages for it!)

Yeah I love the feeling after a run! Especially when I get a new record or achieve something!

I have shoes specially fitted from a running shop as I over probate! And I have high instep! So they support that! I run on grass and pavement so they where a good investment £120 rip off lol! I run at the gym too on the treadmill! I do run better indoors! As I set the speed and I'm determined so I complete what I set out no matter what! But outdoors I track distance on my app! But I have no control over speed! Anyway I'll build myself up for longer runs! Especially now it's getting nice!

But nooooo way I run before work! Now tht is commitment! Well done!
