Cheekychinchilla's food and stuff

Hi Kelly, (I didn't know you had a food diary!!)
It's lovely to read your diary, you've inspired me to think about the exercise that I do (I always forget about the little things).
I'm so sorry to hear about your mum, I have Fibromyaliga, so I know how much of a struggle it is living with the condition, let alone everything else she's going through. Fingers crossed the ultrasound results come back as nothing too serious.
You're food diaries looking great, and you definitely deserve to treat yourself every now and again. I need to have a look in Asda for these new Cadburys Highlights sachets, i've not seen any new flavours! (I couldn't survive without my hot chocolate's mmmm;))
P.S good luck with the driving test! I'm sure you'll pass with flying colours :D xxx

Hello :D
Glad you found me! Aye I've been really good and sensible the last few weeks, which is a miracle for me lol. When I first started SW I was out of work and never had money to eat out or socialise much. Now I have a good job and some money it's a bloody nightmare :p But yeah, 3 weeks of lower syns and less Hex's deserved a day off I think. And apart from the Hotel Chocolat I don't think I did too bad ;)

I'm really sorry to hear you have fibromyalgia too. It's such an awful illness :( We've heard nothing back about the breast scans and they were really quick when there was a potential problem, so hopefully that means it's all ok for now. She's been to see her hand surgeon and because she can't have the operation done this year because of stupid work he's gonna try and fit in another hideous injection in to the bone and joint before the end of the year to try and tide her over. She was supposed to get it before she goes on holiday (by herself!) but the receptionist couldn't fit her in :( Worried about her going on holiday alone coz I'm always there to help her. Really brave though!

Have to say that I'm really disappointed with the new Cadbury's hot chocolate flavours. The Bourneville one is quite nice, but the other don't taste of anything :(

Thanks for the good luck!! I was thinking about driving last night and of course thinking of everything that could go wrong  I'm a worrier lol! xx

No I think you did really well hun, I can imagine it was a struggle finding something SW friendly at Alton Towers, it's full of fast food, donuts and sweeties! So to only have some chocolates…that's fab! (Besides we have to treat ourselves every now and again
;))

Thank you hun. I always say "no news is good news", but I have my fingers crossed for you! Aww no, that's awful:( I definitely know how you feel hun, i've been waiting for a referral back to the hospital for 9 weeks and still haven't heard anything, I sometimes don't think they understand that in that 9 weeks your waiting for just an appointment, your suffering. Sounds like your both having a really tough time, I hope things start looking up for the both of you.

Aww no really, i'll give them a miss then… have you ever tried the dark chocolate? I've only tried the original highlights and a couple of the options sachets. Did you end up trying the highlights with just milk? I usually just add a splash of milk after adding the hot water. I do love my hot chocolate's (and milky drinks are supposed to be great for helping you sleep/fibro) So that's my excuse to have one!;)

I'm sure you'll do fine:D …i'm such a worrier, but if I can do it, anybody can!! xxx

Thank you for the crossed fingers. Waiting times are ridiculous aren't they?

Yeah the dark chocolate (Bournville) one is quite nice. I do like the Options ones ;) Their caramel one is probably my favourite. I did try it with just milk, but it made me feel a bit sick (I'm a bit iffy with too much milk) I usually chuck in a splash of milk with my hot chocs, but the full mug was a bit too much.

Have had a nice day at home today. Way too poor and tired to go out ;) I'd forgotten the Tall Ships were in though :(

I'm gonna be a bit naughty and finish the weekend with a Mars Bar, even though I'm about 5 syns short  New week next week...... Only day I might struggle with is Friday because we're going to Chester Zoo for the day. Think I'll take a packed lunch though and maybe just get an ice cream or something when I'm there. Will see what everyone else is doing.

So yeah, not a bad week for me really. I'll get weighed in the morning at work coz I'm on an early so I can sneak on to the scales when there's no one around :p Hope it's a loss. 1lb would do, it really would!

Monday: Was on an early this morning (up at 6am!) and I'm knackered :p Work was really busy, but not too bad. Actually felt like I had a good day! Went to the Dr's after work to talk about going back on the contraceptive injection or trying the implant. Decided on the injection for now so I can think a bit more about the implant. The lovely Dr said she can do it for me next time if I want it :) Still deciding.... I also asked about my crunchy knees. And there is something wrong :( I have tracking patella's. So instead of moving up and down when I move my leg, they go off to the side. *sigh* I've been given some physio exercises and told to take the anti-inflammatories I have for my shoulder. Feel a bit sad now that I know there is something wrong and not much we can do about it. Will just have to see how it goes. I really don't want surgery!

Anyway, enough of that.... Food!

HexA: Milk/cheese
HexB: Porridge & Fibre Plus
Syns used: 8
Syns left: 2
Exercise: Walking to and from bus stops (inc Dr's visit) And work.

Aww, your welcome hun. I saw the new highlights in Tesco tonight, they had the Caramel, Fudge and Hazelnut… but no Bournville:(, can't wait to try it too!

Hope you have fun at Chester Zoo on friday, I haven't been there in years! ..And ice cream is always a good way to spend your syns :D xx

Really looking forward to the zoo! Haven't been in over a year ;) One day I will have a membership (and a car) to that place :D

Good news!! And yes, it's a bit TMI, but just over 24hrs after having the injection my period has almost stopped. Over 3 weeks!!!! I'm so happy I could dance and cry lol. I am having an overwhelming craving for chocolate tho.... I'll have a Fibre Plus lol.

Ooh Chester zoo looks ace saw the advert on the tv with the dinosaurs! I love dinos lol :) x

Joins CC in the TMI corner, I did exactly the same yesterday, I'm sure I would have lost 1.5lbs rather than one if I had 'been' before class:D

Had a really nice first date with my friend yesterday :) We went for coffee and a chat first and then to see Batman. I was SO tired from being on earlies at work  I'm hopeful :)

Wed food: Extra Easy day + 10 syns
HexA: Cheese
HexB: Bread
Syns used: 8
Syns left: 9
Exercise: Work and walking.

Had a really good double driving lesson today. Did lotsa stuffs :D Also had a vet friend from work come round to health check my bunnies and vaccinate them :) I've seen SO many myxomatosis rabbits in the last few weeks it's terrifying! So mine are done now :) Takes 3 weeks to kick in tho *wibble* They were very brave and didn't even flinch. Would say to anyone with bunnies, definitely vaccinate them! A new combined vaccine has just come out too, so you don't have to get one jab for Myxo and one for VHD. Excellent :)

Thursday's Food: Green Day + 10 syns
HexA: Milk/cheese
HexB: Porridge + Fibre Plus
Syns used: 6
Syns left: 13

Ooh exciting, yeh I went to see batman when I was really tired from working too and it was a chore to stay awake for it all even though I enjoyed the film lol it went on forever! X

So yeah, all my good intentions went out of the window food wise today.... I mean breakfast was fruit and yogurt. Go me surviving Costa with just a coffee. And I made a 1.5 syn packed lunch for the zoo. At lunch I had half a pint of San Miguel and most of a bowl of chips. I suggested the veggie place for tea, but everyone was shattered so we got a lift home and stopped at the chippy on the way home. I had a 10" pizza and well over half a portion of chips and a small bottle of Mountain Dew. And I just had half a big bar of Cadbury's Caramel :angeldevil::bolt:

BUT I had an awesome day and walked miles! And I've been almost saintly of late....

Anyway, I uploaded my pics to Facebook and I already had a Chester Zoo album. So there were old pics of me in there. Bloody hell I shocked myself!!

This was taken in 2008
