Chelsea Lou - The Ventura adventure, not a sinking ship!

Ooooh I've always wanted to do BMF but there's not one nearby unfortunately (secretly I'm relieved as it seems like really hard work )

Is your instructor a really hunky male?? Please say yes so that my illusions are not shattered ;)

:D We have several instructors but they are all rather hunky. One of them is late 50's and incredibly fit and......*puts on beer goggles* is rather attractive.

Be honest Chels..........you would, if you had to, with any of 'em lol lol

Morning Chels, hope that Tuesday treats you well!

No dustbin lids here - Day 10

Morning everyone and thank you for your lovely messages.

The BMF doesn't appear to be doing me any good at the moment......my stomach muscles are so sore and when I got into bed last night and tried to get comfy I nearly hit the ceiling!!! Consequently I've not slept very well as every time I turned over this searing pain went right through me. It feels like a tear to me. It hurts when I laugh, cough, anything that involves the stomach area........and I am surprised just how much of what we do engages them.

Anyway, as per the title of this thread. I buttoned up work suit jacket this morning and it buttons up perfectly with no flattening of the enormous chest :D so dustbin lid boobs are gone yippee!!!!

I finally get my first WI tonight, so looking forward to adjusting my ticker and really being one of the gang:D

Wishing you all a Terrific Tuesday xxx

Oh Chels, did you go after all? Ouch!!!

Hey CL, great news on the lack of dustbin lids, must be working a treat!!
Hope the belly pain eases off soon!
Have a lush day, good luck for a great WI
x

No hon, because of the bronchitis of a couple of weeks ago and the fact that it was pouring with rain I didn't chance it. Can't have any more time off work :(

This is the result of last Wednesday's "fitness" The muscles have been sore all week and last night, for some reason it got considerably worse!! Exercise, good for you?????? My a*se :D:D

phew, you had me worried... rain+BMF = bad idea. You are a star anyway Chels, and the achey bits will ease up... have a good day.

xxx

Good luck with your WI tonight Lorrayne.... so glad to hear your jacket fits you perfectly.....

Good luck with the WI tonight - I love it when something fits again/ nicely (had the same today with a dress for work). Let us know how you get on x

Good Luck with the weigh in... and @Jess-- "rubbish men" LOL

Disappointed

:( Hi everyone,

Just got back from 1st weigh in and after being 100% for 10 days I've lost 5lbs, which I am disappointed with if I'm honest. I've lost 7lbs in 7 days in my first week before. CDC says its because I haven't 'been' for a week and I'm holding onto water (amongst other things!)

I will adjust my ticker in a mo and the consolation is that I am now just in the 11's.

Hope you are all well. Will catch up on all the diaries when I can.

Thank you all for your wonderful support.

xxxx

Hi CL --

Your loss is fab, and it'll be half a stone in no time. I have not lost five in a week since I started. But, I have lost -- so, I am still pleased.

The closer you are to a healthy bmi (and in our case -- the older you are) the slower your losses will be. But it is all good!

You are going to look so lovely at Jess' wedding.

Hang on a minute - in 17 days you've lost 12lbs? Just what's wrong with that?

And as for 'only' 5lbs this week, have you lifted a bag of potatoes lately Chels?

You've done great!! And the dustbin lids have gone!! Tee Hee!! xxx

No Bess, I wish.......100% for 10 days, 1st weigh in and only 5lbs off. Thought it would be at least 7lbs. I've been so good. Just a big disappointed but will be back happy again in a little while - I know its a loss but just less than I was hoping for xxx

 Sorry Chels, couldn't have read it properly. Still 5lbs is good, but I can understand you being disappointed.
However, 10 days ago I was 14 stones and guess what, I am 14 stones today, but you my dear, after all your excellent efforts are 5lbs less than you were. So I still think you did well. xx

It is difficult dieting with a family to cook/shop for, but to be honest I think if I really wanted to get on with it 100% of the time, instead of 99%, I would.
It's the socialising I find particularly difficult, there are often extra friends/family here as well as the normal 5 of us.....and then we go to friends for supper.....I'm just greedy I think, or sloppy, with little self control.

I know!! I need to date Will Power. Anyone know his address? ;) I hope he's tall, dark and handsome.....bit like gorgeous George.....:sigh:

Aw, thanks for your encouraging words Bess, Trisha and Mel, much appreciated.

It must be so hard with the family all around you Bess, I'm not sure I could do this if it wasnt just me here. I don't envy you in that respect.

I know I should be pleased and I will be...eventually lol

I had lost 1" off my waist in the 10 days, so that made me feel better about it - just another 10" to go lol

I've only had two shakes today, so will go and get another, now I have fresh supplies and plenty of choice :D:D

Hope you are having a good evening everyone xxx
