Thank you! I'm really trying to push forward and keep motivated this time round, and minimins has a lot to do with it! This is the most I've ever lost, the longest I've ever stuck with ANY eating plan; I think that having this place is like having image therapy all week!

Thanks Sarah. I don't know what happened, but I gained 4.5lbs. I've gone through my food for the week, and I cannot see for the life of me what could have caused it. I did eat before WI (about 2 hours before), so I don't know if that has anything to do with it (potatoes, tinned spaghetti, veggies and eggs). I'm just completely gobsmacked, 4.5lbs is such a lot to gain; a STS or 1lb gain would have been weird, but 4.5lbs is just INSANE!

I was so looking forward to getting my 3st shiny at least, which is why I made sure I was 100% - I didn't even have my remaining syns till I got home! Now its 6.5lbs away instead of 2lbs, and this stupid gain has taken me back to 29st 2lbs. I hate yoyo-ing, and I know I can't have big losses every week; now I feel a bit paranoid that I can gain that much and not know what I did! I've had pain meds for my jaw and no star week yet....no clue! :cry:

I'm just baffled. If only I knew what had caused it. :( :mad:

So sorry to hear that honey. What did your C say about it?
Maybe it's worth trying to shake things up a bit this week - like trying some new veggies or trying red/green for a change?

It could have just been a complete blip - sometimes our bodies don't do what we expect them to, and I'm sure if you're 100% again this week you'll see that 4.5lb drop off straight away

Try not to let it get you down - just look at how much you've lost so far - it's incredible

Thanks for the words of encouragement Sarah :hug99:. I was thinking of throwing a green or red day in this week, maybe getting some more fruit in. My consultant was cool about it, he said he knows I've been very focussed, but I'm so worried - last time I did SW I swear I gained and lost the same 7lbs over and over for like 6 months! I got so disheartened and gave up.

I really don't want to stall, even my doc (who was 80% unconvinced that I could do this) has been forced to eat his words somewhat. He still reckons that I should take the xenical, but I only take it if I have a flexible day or a day off plan.

I think it's the not knowing that's upsetting me, you know? I'd be less upset if I knew for sure it was something I did. 4.5lbs is equal to 15,750 calories! I just feel like I'm rolling backwards before I've had a chance to gain some serious momentum. It's so frustrating, because I am proud of how much I've lost to date...I just want to move further. I know I won't shift 200lbs+ in a day, but the yoyo-ing definitely doesn't help...:sigh:

Hey christiana try not to let it get you down..I know that's easier said than done .Our bodies can be weird can't they.Just keep thinking about how well you have already done,you are going great guns.It will come off and we will get there.xx
 
Thanks surreygal! It just seems so unfair! We already have to battle our weight as it is without unforseen, uncontrollable events getting in the way. I'm feeling a bit more optimistic today, I've stuck to plan despite feelings to the contrary...I could've sworn I heard the "chocolate voices" for a minute there!
