Finally got round to buying Christmas made extra easy from group on Thursday as need to start planning the old Christmas menu. This is the first year doing Christmas slimming world style so wanted to 'scope' it out as normally I'd be starting to make the Christmas cake about now to store in preparation.

To be honest i was dreading a feast free crimbo and didn't think i could make it through with out the "throwing myself off the wagon" with gusto... but fingers crossed there are soooo many delicious looking ideas that i'll be fine.

Has it got a recipe in for christmas cake then and other sweet things? I love baking at Xmas so sw friendly options would've a great help! I'll have to buy the book next week if so! X

It has the a Christmas cake recipe, Mince tarts, chocolate log, chocolate truffles, Christmas pud, star biscuits, iced Christmas pud and many many more desert recipes, as well as lots of lovely savory dishes too. :D Well worth the £4.95

There is some gorgeous recipes in there, but I made the christmas cake one last year and it was awful, I do admit though it might have been me and not the recipe LOL

I just won't be able to show it in my house until December. It's a rule that we're not allowed to talk about Christmas until at least after bonfire night....

:sigh:
