Claire Bear's shrinking mission

Hey Claire, well done on your losses so far. I've just been catching up on the last few pages of your thread - its been interesting reading. I didn't know pizza express did such low kcal pizzas, they might even satisfy my dominos cravings! That hairy dieters book sounds good as well, I'll have to check it out. Good luck with your trip to Frankfurt

Thanks jonny, wow almost 2 stone off you? That amazing! Congrats!'

Yes, pizza express, not the huge ones but they are still the size of a dinner plate. I've had the pollo pesto pizza and la reine (ham mushroom and olive) both 600 cals ish for the whole pizza. I bulk out with lots if salad, don't know how that all fits in with SW but it works really well for me :)

There are 2 hairy dieter book? WELL worth buying if you like tasty food but just need to get the calorie count down.

Starting to feel my trousers are a bit looser. I LOVE this feeling, and makes me want to stick to this for the long run.

Had a strawberry shake for breakfast, an apple late morning, meal bar for lunch and banana in the car on the way home.
planning to cook chicken fajitas for dinner, There is a recipe for them in the hairy dieters book. bought some of the smaller tortillas (we used to have the big ones) and need to figure out portion size, so going to divide up the meat carefully so I don't go overboard. also decided I will still use the old El Paso spice mix, instead of following the hairy dieters one, there aren't many calories in the spices so figure it won't make a difference. have got creme Fraiche instead of soured cream and need to use that sparingly. Looking forward to it :)

I was doing my laundry today so I threw on an old pair of shorts, when I was walking back to my room they slipped off and I almost dropped my they drink I was holding. Fortunately no one in the house saw but I was laughing because the idea of my clothes being to big as apposed to being to small was something I have never felt. So I agree with you, that feeling is awesome and it does make you want to work harder. :)

Congratulations on the positive strides your taking and hope tomorrow is a better day at work for you!

Hey subscribing to your dairy, your food is looking yummy, I did the chicken fajitas last week, I used low fat sour cream, low low cheese and iceberg leaves for wraps, was stunned at how much I could have for a small amount of calories! It is def on my to do again list.
Well done on your loss so far x

Those pizza express pizzas are really great if you fancy pizza, really yummy and don't feel like a 'diet' option at all :)

Well done on the loose trousers, I agree with other that it's a great feeling when that happens:D

Hope you're having a good day at work and aren't getting too many SF shoved in your face!!

Hi again,
Bea, what other recipes have you tried? I'm working my way through most of them. Planning on the chicken cordon bleu tomorrow night!

same old routine for me, shake, then meal bar and a banana for a snack. Had some re-heated curry (hairy dieters lamb spinach and potato) that I made last week with 200g pilau rice, total of 1400 cals for today.

Much better day at work, I was in a different hospital doing paperwork sorting on my own, so managed to get on and got loads done. :) My parents have set if for a 3 week holiday in America to go and visit my brother, so that'll also give me a bit of a break from them wanting yo hear all about my progress *sigh*

I had to take mum to pick something up yesterday afternoon and we looked in Evans (one of our plus sized shops over here) on the sale rail. She kept picking things out that she thought I'd like - it was awesome saying 'too big' 'that's too big' to it :D It's a huge morale boost isn't it :)

Hopefully when they return you'll have lost even more and they'll be able to see that you know your own mind and leave you alone! (I hope so anywho love!)

Thursday already! This week is going so fast.

Shake for breakfast today, banana for a snack, meal bar in the afternoon and an apple on the bus on the way home.
Made the sausage with onion gravy, along with the creamy mash from hairy dieters book for dinner. Daily Cals come up at just under 1400 for today .

weigh in on Saturday morning, starting to get nervous, but hope it'll be some progress...

Hey Hun the only other thing I have made is a chicken pie!! It was amazing. I love cooking but working nights and a weekend of socialising means me and my kitchen are not close at present! Mind it is sparkling x

Your food again sounds great x well done on another good day x

I am sure you will see some positive results come Saturday :)

Tough week at work, so really pleased I have managed to stick to my plan.

for the first time tonight since I started this diet I was really craving a BIG TAKEAWAY.
Planned to do the chicken cordon bleu from the hairy dieters book, but instead have re-worked a chicken and chorizo pie recipe, as really needed something yummy and filling to satisfy me.

Have substituted the single cream with half fat cream fraiche, and using filo pastry scrunched up instead of the shortcrust.
just tried to work it out using the MFP website, and think it turns it about 700 cals per portion (quarter of the pie), so with a big heap of green veg that'll be EXACTLY what I need, whooooop!! It's in the oven now...

hoping all goes well tomorrow on the scales. would really like to lose as much weight as poss before frankfurt flight next week. Know I'm not going to make any dramatic difference, but would just boost my confidence a but as will inevitably still have to ask for an extension belt.

4 lbs off. Yay! To be honest, was hoping for a bit more, but I guess I have been lulled into expecting these big losses because of the last two weeks, so having a word with myself to be really pleased with the 4lbs.

stupidly wanted to be under 25st by the end of next week, but I guess being greedy is why I am in the position to begin with!!

out to do the shopping this afternoon, and still after that elusive shade of green/blue that's going to work with the bathroom tiles. Will also try and get some gardening done tomorrow I think, whilst the weather is still good.

Well done you! 4lbs is a good loss.

Oh the dreaded seat belt extender, I know that feeling. I had to a lot of flying last year and I was dreading it beforehand, I was certain the seat belt wouldn't fit. It did, just, as long as I wasn't wearing anything too bulky. So embarrassing fighting with the belt to get it done up though.

Think I'm hormonal at the money because I felt cranky his morning and had a migraine aura this afternoon. have got the shopping done though and chosen yet another batch of tester pots for the bathroom, so will see how that goes.

Going to try and make hairy dieters lemony lamb kebabs, along with some stuffed aubergines as I have had a bit of a bumper crop of aubergines in my garden and really need to use them up!!

hope you feel better soon lovely x x x

Eugh, hope you feel better soon!

4lb is a great loss - you'll be very close to your goal if you drop another 4lb - and who knows it might be a little more?

Well done! :) xxxx

Thanks guys! X

Feel better today. Went out and did about an hour of gardening today, felt great not to be COMPLETELY knackered and sore afterwards. I did need a sit down and a pint of squash, but feel fine now. Planning to some housework later.

shake for breakfast, meal bar for lunch will have a snack this afternoon and then save up all the rest if my calorie allowance to have a roast pork Sunday dinner!! busy working out what I'm allowed on MFP...

Slowly and surely is the best way to do it! :) Like you say, you're already doing more than you thought possible! :)

Enjoy your dinner love!! :)

Knees a bit a bit achey, wondering if this is due to the gardening I did yesterday. Definitely feel I can manage a bit more activity during the day, and don't feel completely exhausted after a normal day at work. Would like to work of yo incorporating some exercise/walking after work, but that is something I will bring in gradually.

good day today. Need to keep on top of my snacks though, as miss them when I'm busy at work, and it's going to be tough not yo gobble my dinner down! today only managed a shake for breakfast, meal bar for lunch and an apple in the bus home. For dinner going to have leftovers of the chicken and chorizo pie I made last week with lots of veg.

working towards going away to Frankfurt on Thursday. Still feeling nervous. If I wasn't with any workmates, I'd just pack a load of slim fast stuff and keep a low profile at meal times or go back to my hotel room to eat those. unfortunately though I have a couple of good work friends with me and I think they'd like to go out for dinner and drinks. aaaargh! I should probably just relax and enjoy it as a treat, but feeling so motivated at the moment I just want to stick with.

Last night I was walking across the bedroom with no clothes on *blush* and my boyfriend commented that he can definitely see my bottom has got smaller. :kissass: Lol!! So happy :)

have a look at leslie sansone walking dvds at home there great love x x
