Confessions of an Indecisive Dieter

Love a bit of cheesy music Emily lol, probably why Reflex is one of my favourite places :p.

Thanks Cai :) i've gone up 3lbs in water weight! But I usually go up 5lbs after having a drink, so it should be off again by tomorrow.

Last week I only managed 1 DD, it was a bit of a hectic week. This week I had a DD monday, yesterday and today. I need friday and saturday off and I'm thinking about an ID for sunday.

I'm FINALLY (in caps) down to what I weighed before Christmas. I'd lost weight by being sensible before but gained most of it back this year. I went down another 3 lbs by xmas eve, I can't wait to weigh much less this Christmas! I need to start exercising on up days and always have at least 3 DD's every week.

I really love this diet, I've always felt empowered on VLCD's, just never been able to stick to them 100% because of the side effects with cramps etc. Even though I only did 1 DD last week, I didn't give up and was right back on it this week. On other diets, once I slip up, all hell breaks loose and I go into binge mode.

So my new pattern is DD's monday, tuesday, thursday, friday and UP days wednesday, saturday and sunday. I'm thinking about making sunday a low up day. Yesterday was an UP day and I only had a bacon sandwich and a baguette, but then I had about 4 glasses of rose too ;).

I seem to be losing slowly, but that is with zero exercise, I have far too much weight on me to be losing such a small amount, so I'll be adding exercise and hopefully the new 2 DD's in a row will speed things up! Also need to drink more water and maybe have alcohol once a week, not twice!

I've had a banging headache on the right side for the past week, I hope it's not related to the diet. I hardly ever get headaches, could possibly be my body detoxing?

Also, I've only been doing JUDDD properly for 3 weeks now. The first week I think I only had 1 or two DD's and the second I only had 1 too. The weight I charted a few weeks ago went back up to 14 stone 10 lbs, and stayed there for a while. I should probably be a bit more positive. I can't wait to get out of the 14's (stone, I'm not in size 14 clothes yet, only very stretchy leggings lol!)

I should probably have a look around the diaries and other posts, not felt very minimins motivated lately ;p

Ooh, more positives - my sister said my face looks slimmer last week, and my mum said the same yesterday =D

good luck I hope the head ache improves maybe try upping the liquids x

So weird! I weighed myself this morning after having sat & sun as UP days and I've only gone up by 1 lb! Last week (same situation, possibly less food) I had gained 6 lbs by monday. I've never had one up day and gained so little, never mind 2!

Nimble bread, quavers, 100cal cheese dunkers, special k bars and french fries are all total life savers on down days! They feel so naughty for a vlcd day lol.

Lost another 1lb this week, still no exercise, so I'm very happy. My migraines have eased up a bit so I'll definitely add some cardio this week. LOVE this diet!

I lost another 1 lb this week, aaah I wish I could lose 2 every week instead! I'm having 4 down days a week, but I must confess to having closer to 600 calories on those days. I need more like 450, so I'll be working on that next week.

I've also had the period from hell this week, so I've been unable to exercise. I've been put on Norethisterone to stop a 3 month long period, well I didn't realise I had to have a break once a month, so I took them for nearly 3 months. Then when I came off them last week, I felt like I was going into labour. I know that sounds far fetched, but I got in touch with the doctor (I'm going through scans and all sorts atm, suspected pcos) *TMI WARNING* and he said sometimes with these tablets, especially if you take them for too long, you will pass your entire uterine lining in one *cries* so the pains I was having were very much like contractions. Ugh god knows how babies come out of there! lol. I've never had such a painful period in my life, soo after a horrid week, I'm very happy to be at my lowest weight in about 2 years!! =D:party0011:

Thanks both =D

I've got a bit of a sore head today, but last night was worth it ^^

I'll be having 450 calories on my 4 down days this week, be interesting to see if it makes a difference. I would love to lose 2lbs instead of 1, but I've heard having pcos can make weight loss a struggle because of insulin resistance. I've not been officially diagnosed yet until I see the specialist, but they did say I had cysts on my ovaries. So if anyone reads this diary and worries about having losses similar to mine, try not to use me as an example of the results you get on judddd (in the early stages). I've always had to be on a drastic diet to lose even 1 lb weekly in the past, so thinking about it, judddd is working amazingly well for me because I'm losing every week, which didn't even happen on a 1200 calorie diet with exercise.

Scrap that, I'm having 3 down days this week, and an ID on Wednesday. Looking forward to tomorrow evening, I love how things can be moved around on JUDDD so you don't have to miss out on having a social life.

Seconded! :D

Well yesterday turned into an UP day! Which means I'm having 3 down days this week instead of 4. I was petrified to do my daily weigh-in today, but I'm exactly the same as my lowest on saturday =D *dances* lol

Bit of retail therapy has cheered me up, two pairs of winter boots and a new coat (in a size 14!) bit tight, but it will fit better soon enough. I also got a coat last year that I absolutely loved, so I purchased the same one but in a smaller size (14) and a different colour, the coat doesn't stretch at all, but it fits my arms and waist, it's just too tight around the boobs! I do find it odd how I'm nearly in a size 14, yet I'm still 14 stone something and only a short arse at 5'2"

I'm feeling really positive about JUDDD today. I hardly feel like I'm on a diet most of the time, I actually look forward to my down days & feel very full after a down day dinner. I remember someone on here mentioning how the 'cleaner' foods used on down days will fill you up so much more than carbs and processed food, she was so right. Most down day evenings I am stuffed.

My waist has gone down 2 inches this week! My official weigh-in day isn't until tomorrow, but I weigh in daily and today showed a 1lb loss, which I don't usually get until saturday - does this mean I could lose 2lbs this week? Probably not, but it's nice to see it go down a day earlier than usual ;p, especially since I've had an extra UP day this week. If I maintain the loss for tomorrow, or lose more I might start doing 3 down days instead of 4, or maybe I'll alternate my weeks between both.

I know JUDDD would be even more successful for me if I actually started exercising! I am so lazy, I'd compare myself to a sloth :p. Aerobic videos and treadmill will be dusted off next week - why does that thought fill me with dread? :p

I also feel like I have lost so much more than the scales say since being on JUDDD, I'm noticing it in my mid section, face and back, I've always hated my back, maybe it's something that goes along with having humongous boobs - fat back? OR maybe just cos I'm obese  lol

Hmm, think I've waffled on long enough :D

No no, waffle on some more. I too am a fellow sloth. I've joined my local shake-fit place and been going 'most' days. I've quite good inch loss going on this week and will put it down to the shaking as well as juddd

15 lost : 52 to goal
