If anyone can let me know if this is the same as coop or asda that would be terrific
Cheers
I believe the difference comes from the fact the Tesco ones have oil in them, whereas the co-op ones dont. Its not necessarily the nutritional info, but where those figures come from. calories from fat not being as good as others. iykwim.
I know the ordinary tesco ones are far more processed and as said have oil and various flours and additives in them. The ingredients in the asda and co-op ones are very limited and unprocessed.
a lot of factors are considered when SW select Healthy Extra's.
As well as nutritional informational such as calories, fibre, fat and sugar content etc. The ingredients are also looked at.
The healthy extra list is updated regularly, so generally if it isn't on the list it isnt a healthy extra. That is not to say you can't contact Slimming World however, if you discover a new product which you feel might qualify. If you send them full nutritional details and ingredients they should be able to answer definately for you.
I have done that before with a couple of products here in Canada.
