Curious on the low carb rules.....

Hi all, I am new to the site and was wondering what rules people are sticking to on there low carb diets.

I have been mainly cutting out bread, pasta and potato's which has been working but weightloss has slowed so now need other ideas if anyone has any.
 
Hi vix and welcome:). This part of the board is fairly quiet but all low carbers welcome over on the atkins part so feel free to come and visit. For atkins the rules are very low carb(20g) for induction first 2 weeks and then gradually add things back and increase carbs in OWL (ongoing weight loss) while you learn what your body likes and dislikes. Out favourite motto is clean and green - good proteins(meat/fish etc) with plenty of veg and avoid the sugar free goodies - they usually stalll people
