Morning all, good luck to all with a WI today. I'm at home today so may actually get a chance to post in the day.

I have decided to have a non food treat each time I get a sw award, so today I am going to have my toenails done with the new Shellac nail polish- I'm really excited!!:):)

In the past I have always thought of food as rewards and I am trying hard to stop food being rewards- what do you all do to treat yourselves?

We are off for a weekend away so I am going to aim for a STS week

Haves good sw day all

Lol a set of kitchen devils - they were reduced in asda yesterday and thought a new set would be good if I'm exploring sushi recipes at the moment :)

I got some garfield pyjamas too which is a little less scary :8855: Mheh they don't quite fit yet, stretchy but they're size 20/22 - I'm a 24/26 top and (just about) 28 bottom at the moment :sigh: Ah well, they might fit okay by christmas if I keep up the good work :D

Think when I hit 5st I'm going to splash out on a sushi plate set from america - got my eye on these two, different styles:

One for posh, one for everyday :)

Pop over if you like, I made a huge batch for me too :giggle:...and it's syn free now, made it with the xanthan gum my C recommended and its 1 syn for the whole pot ...so with it being 8 servings for the batch I made they are then negligible syns yahoo .....love the KFC chicken we have that regularly not seen the 4 syn chocolate sauce? and 4 marshmallows for 1 syn...WHERE???? they are my big downfall, forget chocolate and crisps marshmallows I would kill for...seriously lol
You will be fine, Saturday when I weighed myself (like you I can't wait am a serial weigher) it said I was 1lb up so didn't weigh till this morning when it said I was 4.5 down and then tonight at group was 4lb off, so guess I'll just have to wait till group in future but I bet I don't lol xxxx

Sounds like a plan! I'll see you for dinner then!! hahah :p :p :p

This is the chocolate sauce.

And this is the marshmallows:

They are 5 calories each so 4 is 1 syn and they are big too! 68p in Sainsburys.

So together I think they should go down pretty well.
Low syn marshmallows and chocolate sauce hehe! YAY!

Me & hubby tried the chocolate sauce last night and it was SOO good. And makes a massive amount. At least 4 servings if using as part of a dessert so you could get loads from it if sharing foundu style!!

WI is tonight and I weighed this morning and I was 16'13.8 which is just cruel. Now I have no chance of getting into the 16's. OH WELL. I will just have to wait and see!

Hm, think they've synned that pudding wrong - says in my book cocoa is 2.5 syns per tbsp, it's 1 syn for a tsp! Oops huh.

Still sounds nice though, I've not got round to make a chocolate pudding with tofu yet :)

Good luck for tonight - stop peeking you! :whoopass::D

Hm dunno now as just looked up general unsweetened cocoa calories and that looks more like 1 syn... heh tricky. Suppose it's down to reading the labels, I like green and blacks cocoa and I know that follows the 1 syn per tsp, 2.5 per tbsp rule :(

Ignore my scaremongering the 1 syn thing is probably right lol Don't go to group or have access to syns online so I'm basing my info on older books and what I find on here

I used 2 packets of highlights hot chocolate and they are 2 syns each arent they? So that made mine 4 syns for the thing and it was SOOOOOO good.
Made things easier! hahah.

I am SUCH a peeker! haha

Sorry - been busy all day and not got onto minimins until quite late - already been here over an hours and not caught up with all the threads yet

I was just wondering if there are any treatments/exercises that would help with the problem other than leaving it alone. It seems to be in both feet but one side more than the other and concentrated towards the back of the heel, wondering if it might be heel spurs aswell. I'm sure going to the doctors first is recommended before going to a chiropodist/podiatrist though. Mnn feels so cheeky asking for advice through the forum lol Sorry

My name's Lorna, it never got shortened from that until I met my OH who calls me Lo and I prefer it now :)

Okay! Lo then! =) That one should be easy to remember since its in your name.

I will ask hubby tonight and will let you know the best thing for it. Its not bad at all going to a Podiatrist and they know foot problems inside out whereas its not so much the Doctors thing. I will let you know asap!

This morning I was in an innocent rush and left the houe without my breakfast.

I stopped in my tracks as I realised Boots was open and Boots sell healthy breakfasts.:flirt2:

I ran in grabbed a meal deal which consisted of a fruit salad, energy drink and THIS:
Rumblers.jpg

It tasted sooooo nice and I was so proud of mydself for not running into Greggs for a quick greasy sanwich and a thick sugary latte. :girlpower:

I then went to fill in my food diary and check the syn value of my choices.

Rumblers isn't listed  so I used the calculator

BANG :hitthefan:14 syns

FOURTEEN SYNS for a mouthful of cereal and yougurt

I REFUSE to write 14 syns on my Little Pink Dress Diary so I recalculated using the yogurt as a free food ( it is low fat probiotic after all) and got it down to 8.5 but STILL....

I could have enjoyed those syns and now I have to have to have BORING :badmood::badmood::badmood:syn free days till Saturday

OH WELLLLLLL

HAPPY WEDNESDAY EVERYONE

Morning gossipy peeps.

Fantastic losses on here already; weigh in for me tonight - really want 2.5lbs for some new shinys - does everyone get as excited about shinys as me?

taster session at group tonight - with a buffet theme. I've made a quiche and am doing egg fried rice, need to get a few spring onions & more chinese five spice and voila. :)

thanks for the recipe lily - they look fab :D

Morning Bron,

You just beat me to it.

I was just about to wish everyone luck who is getting weighed today. :)

What is shellac nailpolish, I haven't heard of that. It's a lovely idea for a treat when you have done well. I might pinch that idea!! :)

Sent from my iPhone using MiniMins

Hi
Shellac is a tough polish that they dry under uv, it's supposed to last for weeks and keep it's nice shine and not chip, I'll let you know if it's as good as the advert, I saw it advertised when I was at the hairdressers, also she raved about it.

Was it low fat yogurt? If so, did you remember to put it as a free food allowance?

thanks ladies for the pick-me-up *hugs*

I'm sure I'll feel better tomorrow- I was just over hungry- an now I'm tired....trying to wind down before sleep.

At least I don't have to be up early- probably 11am actually- to get a good breakfast and then get ready for my interview (it's at 2pm)

I don't know what to take with me....I called up about the job and I was offered an interview there and then.....I was thinking my CV, bank details (just in case) and passport....I don't need anything else do I?

Oh it's nervewracking! just gutted I didn't fit into those size 20 pants....I hope I look ok with skirt, leggings and ankle boots (and a white shirt, of course)
Hope your interview went well hun x

My name's Lorna, it never got shortened from that until I met my OH who calls me Lo and I prefer it now :)

HAPPY WEDNESDAY EVERYONE
I did this on Saturday - we were at a hotel so on Friday night I bought an Oat So Simple - the ones in a paper cup - as there was a kettle in the room. Much better (I thought) than getting a pastry or the like! No not really.

Anyway, I looked on the ingredients and it had sugar in it! I guess for convenience but anyway - lesson learned. Today I took to work my home made Oat So Simple Cup:

28g Oats (HEB)
3 tsp Skimmed Milk Powder (HEA)
1 tsp Splenda

Added hot water at work and it was LOVELY :)

I will definitely do it again!

Morning gossipy peeps.

Yes!!! I love getting them and I'm also in competition with my Hubby. We both have 7 atm but he has SOTM (I dont) and I have Club 10 (and he doesn't). Also it means I can get a new Pandora charm ;)

Sounds great but what happens when your nails grow? Mine grow really quickly.

OK - that's 3 pages caught up on.

No doubt there will be 10 by the time I stop back later!!!!!!

GOOD LUCK ANYONE WEIGHING TODAY x

Aha it is you who is 'oh so wise' today :D I fancy a chocolate mint one with highlights then I reckon, might do that later as I've got silken tofu in the fridge that had been earmarked for a pumpkin creme caramel but it's a bit fiddly, save that for a weekend :)

Aws, don't be too hard on yourself. If you draw a line under it I think you should still be okay to have a few syns each day - or are you saving some up for the weekend? x

2 weeks? I've only had 1 week - did I join late then?

I think it possibly depended on when you have your WI - maybe you joined a day or two after your WI day so didn't count that result in? I think when the challenge started some people had 13 WIs to go and others had 14 just because we're all on different days :)

Random babble - mmm I've found my favourite apple variety, coxes :D

Been trying different varieties for a few weeks to find the sweetest kind and think this is it. Had one with some fruity cheese last night and it was so nice. Just eating one on it's own cut into slices after lunch. Cuts down on the activia dependancy lol

I still love Pink Lady's and they're bigger too :)

Oh so that's possibly why I also have a lower target? I did consider upping my target and including the previous week's WI but that would be wrong now - right? I'll leave it :)

Love these too, just bought another bag - on offer in morrisons, now why can't I remember if I paid 95p or 99p :8855:
