Dairy Of a Lardy kid aged 43 and 3 quarters...

Oh and thank you for the recipe it sounds gorgeous I'm going shopping tonight so will get some quorn mince in and give it a go - Ive done similar before so I'm sure it'll be a big hit :)

...don't stress about the scales they are in essence just numbers - don't forget to measure yourself too, those inches coming off here and there are what will keep you going on the weeks when the loss seems slow and low xxx

:)

Had no breakfast today...just coffee and vimto. Went for weigh in...it takes forever what with doing the exercise class for 30 minutes then the weigh in itself.

There must be 50+ people in that class it was 1pm before it finished that's a long time from 9.15pm. Anyway ended up having lunch out in our SW friendly class with the 2 friends I've met there at class. Got home just before 3 after getting the ingredients for tonight's dinner.

Got food shopping tonight - will be glad to get back home and get my jamas on and have a few glasses of well earned wine...oh! and I've decided to apply for a part time job...rattling round this house watching my life pass by is not going to bring my mum back and is not going to get me better. It's only 16 hrs a week mon-fri working in an independent bag and fashion accessories shop - I need to get my purpose back after losing my mum after caring for her for so long.

Anyway....

Breakfast: coffee (hexa) and sugar free vimto

Lunch: rashers of bacon (hexB) beans, tomatoes, poached mushrooms, griddled egg, 2 small toast (hexB)

Dinner: Honemade cheese pasta (hexa) 'pie' baked potato and mixed salad with balsamic

Hope you're all having a shexi Friday :) :)

You're worth a brewery load! :D

Good afternoonie! :)

Woke up with a fat head this morning but it was worth it had such a laugh with hubbs and the kids last night with the karaeoke - I'm easily amused.

Tony got Saturday off so I've put my foot down with a firm hand and demanded that he just chill. He's usually taxi-ying one of the sprogs round or doing some sort of DIY so I've said no. Anyway the day started off with brunch in bed and basically were not going anywhere so its a pj day for all of us with nothing more stressful than watching TV, reading or listening to the radio (I do like a bit of radio 2's pick of the pops on a Saturday) :)

Brunch: beans on 2 slices of seed sensation bread (2xhexB) with 2 fry-light eggs and some left over chick pea loaf crumbled into the beans. Coffees (hexA).

Dinner: quorn spag bol with 40g of reduced fat cheddar on the top with some garlic 'bread' made from throwing loads of oregano and garlic into some smash and making it into a dough and baking it - will post pics and let you know how it is because I've never tried it.

No drinky poo's tonight. I enjoyed what I had last night but I enjoy having the freedom of my syns more. I think we are toying with the idea of maybe going for carvery tomorrow so I'd like to be able to do that without going over on my syns.

Hope you're all having a lovely Saturday!

xxxx

:)

Sitting here waiting for my chow mein, curry sauce and boiled rice with a few prawn crackers to arrive, the best 14.5 syns I'm ever gonna spend. So the quorn spag bol will probably be happening Monday.

Starving and can't wait! :)

Happy Saturday night people

Mmmmmm Chinese sounded good. Did you enjoy it? Well it was weigh in this morning.............4lb! I'm smiling..........a lot!!!!!!

I made a lovely alternative to just yoghurt last night, mousse made with quark, sugar free jelly and mullerlight. It was yum yum yum. Off to a christening today so I'm going to load up on my roasted veg soup I made yesterday so I'm not tempted to nibble and then ill have a red day and eat my Sunday roast tonight. I can't wait!

Hope you've had a lovely weekend Lisa xxx

WOW! 4 LBS DOWN!!!!!!!!! THAT'S AMAZING ELI :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) and I bet it wasn't even hard either!...that's the thing with SW if you really get your head around it and do it properly and grt in the zone then it doesn't feel like a diet at all! Onwards and downwards all the way.

The Chinese was gorgeous well worth the syns and the bonus is I didn't wake up with a hangover would of normally spent them syns towards wine/beer/brandy so YAAAY!

I've made the jelly mousse before its really nice although mine wasn't as sweet as I would've like.

I'm back to doing my soups tomorrow. Last week was the first week I didn't make any home made soups so its back to my carrot and sweet potato and broccoli and pea might even try making something like a chilli bean and tomato or something - has long has it can be simmered in stock I can turn it into a soup lol :D

I'm doing smoked ham today with new potatoes baked in their skins, and cheese sauce will probably do corn cobs and a side salad. I usually do a full roast but fancied a change.

Enjoy your soup, enjoy your christening and enjoy your Sunday dinner when you get back

xx

Well done el that's great!!! Really motivating. Lise, great re Chinese. I saw that last night and thought yum yum!! I must have a proper treat soon. Not a naughty one, something like a balanced meal out or a takeaway within syns.

GOOD MORNING WORLD! :)

I had a brilliant sleep and have not woken up with a phat head, that's what usually happens if you don't drink bucket loads of alcohol the night before I suppose :D

I've had a lovely chilled weekend so far though and like normal Ive used a whole lotta syns but *shrugs* that's what I've done every weekend since I started the plan (except last weekend where I just obliterated my syns allowance in one evening) and I've lost every week and because I treat myself at my weak point (the weekend) as long as I leave myself around 5 syns a day for the rest of the week then I find I don't feel like I'm on a diet and can say no to stuff because I've already had my treats at the weekend and I'm happy with that!. So I've had a massive 75 syns over the Friday and Saturday but out of that I had a gorgeous half bottle of Remy brandy, various condiments with my lunch out on Friday and Friday nights tea, a Chinese takeaway with extra curry sauce and prawn crackers and my Mother's Day thorntons chocolates from last Sunday. I've eaten how I would eat at the weekend if I wasn't on a 'diet'.

So I have 30 syns left until weigh in on Friday. I tend to only use my syns from sun-thurs on sauces, dressings, gravy, quorn sausages/burgers etc so its more than enough.

I'm gonna up the exercise this week - a bit of walking and one 30 minute exercise class a week ain't enough - so upping the walking. Will walk every day from tomorrow for at least 30 mins or might have to stroll because of knees but I will still make a wilful effort to get moving more than I am and I'll be interested to see what the scales say on Friday. I'm aiming for 2 off this week it would be nice to lose the half pound as well because I hate the little point 5 things - I got decimal OCD lol :D

Okay today is EE and is planned like this:

Breakfast: coffee (hexA) and juice chilling in bed reading the news.

Lunch: smoked ham, new potatoes baked in their skins, and corn cobs with side salad. 2 tablespoons of salad cream (2 syns) and balsamic for the salad.

Dinner: 4 dark rye ryvitas (hexB) spread with marmite and then spread with chopped boiled egg that's been mixed with extra light mayo (1 syn) some mixed salad and a packet of happy snax 10g (1.5). A Asda fat free dessert style yoghurt and chopped bananas.
TOTAL SYNS: 4.5

Whatever you're doing this Sunday have a good one!

The Chinese was delicious I really enjoyed it, it was either that or a carvery today and I'm so glad I chose the Chinese. I think it's going to be our once a month treat because I did do a total takeaway ban when I started this and this is the first one we've had since I went back on plan which believe me is amazing for us lol. But I think I can justify a once a month treat ;)

I think I may treat myself to a Chinese next weekend you've got me wanting one now! Lol.

Good Morning...

Up half the night and most of yesterday evening with stomach cramps and sore boobs, wish Mother Nature would stop being such a psycho Lil and decide whether I'm on the menopause or not...if I don't get a period I'm in agony with my stomach and boobs or if I get a period its so ridiculously heavy it's debilitating - cant sodding win!.

So was up and at it at 7.30am stripped the beds and polished and cleaned downstairs its only 9.45am and I'm considering blitzing the upstairs before going for a walk (its a beautiful fresh spring day!) to hand Tonys prescription in and get a printer cartridge.

Going to crack on with my C.V today - hope I've not left it too late, only saw the job advertised on Friday it could have been there a week or 2 though.

I'm making soup today - not had any breakfast, I'm trying to see if it will help my stomach to feel less uncomfortable.

Breakfast: coffee (hexA) and water.

Lunch: Home-made Sweet Potato and Carrot Soup with 4 dark rye ryvitas (hexB) and 4 laughing cow blue cheese triangles (hexB).

Dinner: Quorn Spaghetti Bolognese with smash garlic bread and 40g reduced fat cheddar (hexA) to put on top and into the smash mix.

Hoping to not have any syns today - really going for it now upto Friday had a very heavy weekend syn wise would be nice to go to weigh in with 20/30 syns left instead of having used every single one.

Hope you all have a good Monday (although if it wasn't for M and E would be typing to myself)

xxx
