Dairy Of a Lardy kid aged 43 and 3 quarters...

Food today...

Breakfast: lemon juice and hot water.

Lunch: onion and mushroom omelette with salad and 2 dry slices of wholemeal toast (hexB) with ketchup (1 syn) and coffee (hexA).

Dinner: chick pea Dahl loaf (hexA for 40g cheese) with beans and side salad and balsamic.

Not sure what I'm using my other hexB on. No brandy or treats tonight had a heavy enough week has it is.

SYNS = 1

What a nice surprise, loads off next week I'm sure X

Ended up having my hexB, a wholemeal roll spread with a laughing cow cheese triangle extra light which I'm counting has part of a hexA because I've only had one coffee and allowed for 400ml of unsweetened soya milk. Quorn burger (0.5 syns) some ketchup (1 syn) and a fistful of iceberg lettuce....and oh it was lovely.

I love my food on the SW plan and I've had plenty of opportunity lately to sack it off for good and eat whatever I like off plan never again to darken the doors of SW...but truth is I actually like it...it's clean, good tasting healthy food and my shopping bill as actually gone down by around £25 a week!!!!

I opened my bottle of brandy...I know I said I wouldn't have any tonight but I'm only having a few and having half a bottle of brandy over 7 days is nothing really - I'm having a few tonight and tomorrow and during the week but Im counting the 40 syns already.

Oh! And I've got LOADS of body magic in today too walking back and forth to town twice, and bits I between so I'm chuffed because Ive done lots of walking everyday this week.

Anyway I'm waffling - that's what 3 brandy and diet pepsi's does :D ;)

Night, Night xxx

Off out for a walk with S then maybe through the park and across into town so she can buy a top or something. Think T and S are fitting some speakers in the car and going for a ride to test them out lol.

That Granose chicken stuff is good isn't it? Asda to a version very similar for a fraction of the price, and sosmix type stuff although I've not checked the syns for it all. In the same section they do a dry mince substitution. I've not tried the bolognaise vesion, just the savoury one which I discovered is free on green. It makes a very good lasagna or canelloni 'meat' layer. Pffffft to canelloni, what a faff it is filling it all, but worth it.

Ditto to the clearing up efforts, it always gets worse before getting better. As I explained to the cats when I re-arranged the kitchen and they couldn't get through it at all. hope your washing gets dry very soon. It was bright here but has got very grey and gloomy over the last hour or so. Hope it's better for you.

I really liked the chicken meatless loaf actually but only got a small slice for 4 syns. Think I'm gonna have a to at making one myself with lentils and cous-cous and sage and onion mix, onions, and butter beans etc - will let you know how it goes. Granose do another thing that's free I'm sure it was something like red lentil and pepper loaf thing, dunno though might of dreamt it lol.

I got all my bedding dry and in and folded and back up in the cupboard by 3pm so was chuffed :) the house looked lovely and tidy and organised until about 3.15pm when the two S's arrived home from school, then it looked like a bomb had gone off again lol.

Hope things have been easier for you today Micci...just go with the flow chuck, take it in your stride - good luck with the new club xxxxx

This was my dinner and it was gorgeous. Made a red lentil bolognese for S because she won't eat quorn mince...really enjoyed it, proper comfort food :)

I'm so relieved my motivation has come back - I was really wavering the last 2 weeks, even contemplated just packing it all in....but! we are going to do it!!!.

I think it might of been something S said the other day that struck me..now S is not very generous when it comes to tact but he does try though bless him...he basically said he could never ever imagine me slim.

That was enough for me! And I've also promised S that I will be very near if not already at target for when we go and see JLS in December. I'm not letting either of them down xx
