Daisy's Diary!

Cool! Well enjoy the pasta!
Also if you have a slow cooker? A good sf meal.....throw some meat in......an loads f veg and some water, maybe stock!
Leave all day! Then thicken with gravy if you think it's needed! So yum! I love to put lots of bit chunky carrots in! Best ever!

No alas I don't have a slow cooker, but I guess I could do that in the oven/on the hob :0) does sound very nice!

I love mine! I think there about £12 in tesco......if you ever wanna buy one.

It's the only kitchen gadget I use. Blender/omelette maker/juicer ate all in their boxes lol

Good price! I had some kitchen gadgets that haven't been used or used rarely but cos it took me years to get into cooking,I'm still not that adventurous lol

The beef and tomato thing i did the other day was in the slow cooker - was lovely. Nice to not have to put too much effort in iykwm. Although the only thing i don't like is the veg turns to mush so next time i'd only add the veg towards the end cause i enjoy mine a bit more crunch. Saying that though - i do have the things coming this week to make a nice lamb casserole for one night next week. Nice to just throw it all in in the morning, when i have spare time, then can just unwind at night x

I guess it can be a case of trial and error! Yum to a lamb casserole.I'm home most days(more so then i used to be) so I never did feel the need for a slow cooker because of this.

My slow cooker was my BEST EVER PURCHASE!!!! I think it was €8 in Argos.. its only a 1-2 person one but I'm only 1 person :D

There's a slow cooker thread set up on here with some great dinner ideas... if yer interested in subscribing... I'll bump it now so its easier to find.. And feel free to add your recipes :D

My dinner tonight, wholewheat pasta, tuna and lots of veg with tinned tomatoes! Have made up another batch and will take that with me when I see my family tomorrow, now I normally snack when there as chill and watch movies/Hollyoaks with the kids! So will be interesting to see how I get on! Will take some healthy snacks like normal and maybe have a extra bagel if I get peckish between meals!
