Hi, your diary sounds great, I love salmon, prawns and steak so might pinch some of your ideas!

The salmon and prawns is a really easy (and yummy) starter. Just the prawns mixed with a little seafood sauce, made into a parcel with the smoked salmon and then on a bed of lettuce.

If you like salmon had have you tried cajun salmon using the Schwartz Perfect Shake? It's really good and syn free!

No I hadn't even heard of that and being syn free makes it extra interesting :)
Will have a look for that, I have loads of salmon fillets in the freezer so will be ideal to jazz them up, thanks!

The plan for today so far....

hi dancingqueen, your menus are lush, i would recommend keeping your diary daily as it really motivates you and keeps you on track, esp when people pop in and comment on how well you are doing or pointing out where you might be going wrong, good luck for good wi, donna x

Thanks Donna, I'm really enjoying keeping track on here. I'm trying lots of new things too. Just had my dinner and I'm stuffed - it was soooo good though! :)

Breakfast
Tea.

Lunch
Poached egg on wholemeal toast, with baked beans (1/2 syn)
Tea

Dinner
Minted lamb chops, roast potatoes (in frylight), yorkshire pudding, cabbage and brocolli, mint jelly (6 syns)
Rice pudding

Snacks
Tea
Biscuit (not sure of the syns for this, going to say 2)
Cappuccino (3 syns)

Not that happy with today, too many syns used. I should have said no to the biscuit but it was a work meeting and I didn't want to be rude (good excuse huh!?) I also shouldn't have had the cappuccino this evening cause they didn't have skimmed milk but it was so cold outside I couldn't face a cold drink and better than alcohol I suppose!

My husband does SW with me, we started in july 2010, but went off plan when my mum became ill and I did the MEND (Mind, Exercise, Nutrition, Do It) Programme with my 10 year old daughter. We were only saying how much nicer the food is on sw, have just had a fritatta (sp?) for lunch, it was scrumptious.

when do you wi?

How did you make that?

I WI in on Monday morning. I'm going out for dinner tomorrow so bit worried about that. Also going out for a drink with a friend tonight, we usually do hot chocolate or something like that so I'm thinking I'll go for a cappuccino.
