day 1 on xenical,so far so good

Hi all,just wanted to share my excitetment of starting my diet today i hardly slept lastnite thinking what im going to eat,what exersises im going try,i brought myself a skipping rope and wrist weights yesterday:D,so got up this morning couldnt face cereal so had an apple and sultana crisp bread thing with a pint of water and took my miracle pill,lunch will be a pear,banana,muller yoghurt another pill then ive got work so my tea wont be until 10.30pm ww vegi meal and another pill! does this sound ok or do you think i should skip latenight meal and wait for breakfast? thanks everybody :confused::)

Hiya Paula, goodluck on your 1st day...the one thing i will say is make sure you eat enough .....I really recommend the Alli diet plan book as its full of recipes and tells you how the diet works....I don't look at it as a diet its a life change !!

I am 5ft 3 and I am on 1600- 1800 calories a day........make sure you watch calories and fat...

You could include a bit more into your meals, have a bigger lunch and maybe a lighter evening meal, but dont skip any meals!! make sure you get enough calories otherwise you will not lose any weight, your body will go into starvation mode!! hope your day goes well :D

thanks for your replys,i agree i need to up my food intake im just a bit scared if i eat anything i dont realise thats high in fat im going to have an accident in work,i have enough trouble getting somebody to cover me when i just need a wee lol,my nxt full day off work is thursday so will go shopping again for decent meals,and try to snack on fruit as much as i can xx

will buy this book on the way into work later this afternoon thanks,does it have veggi recipes in it? :)

It has some veggie recipes and others you can adapt with veggie mince, quorn chunks ect :)

the meat ones just replace with quorn and change meat stocks to vegetable :):)

good luck to you :) like everyone said just watch you dont eat too little. a mistake that is so easy to make. other than that good luck on your first day :D

I didn't realise I was eating so far below my calories so I have upped them...so this week I am hoping that makes a difference lol

I have also decided to take measurements as sometimes you don't lose pounds you lose inches :):)

i very often underdo the cals :( i just get so full these days. was a bit naughty last night a pigged on a box of micro chips :( had the oils today so wont be doing that again thats for sure

nope it wasnt and i guess that is my lesson learned. been so good guess we are all allowed to have the dreaded effects once :(

hiya well done Paula i love reading everyones threads, i'm on day 4 today and had the dreadful oily poo, only thing i can think of is the cottage cheese..... or maybe the harlicks last night but isn't that a bit fast the morning after. I'm not really sure. xxx mr caz just told me off for drawing on a plate for potion sizes lol

It wont be the cottage cheese caz, it will be the horlicks!! Alot of the hot drinks can be high in fat, and regarding to it making its way out quick i think it all depends on the individual person and what it is they had!!

i make a record of my inches as well its so nice to see them go down
i put a pair of jeans on today for a appointment that before my tummy would have been over them (a big tyre lol) and now they fit really nicely almost perfectly

caz thats a great loss well done

am looking forward to this weeks weight loss should be great

Wow des thats great hun, i fitted into an old pair of jeans, my tummy still sticks over them a small bit, but i am happy i can fasten them!! Thanks for the congrats too, your doing really really well yourself hun, keep up the good work!! :D
