it does get a lot easier.. and there is other stuff you could do with your shakes.

try adding coffee to the chocolate and vanilla shakes... add peppermint tea to choc shake too.. thats gorgeous!
umm I, like others, have been putting a sprinkle of cinnamon on my hot choc shake... and that tastes very nice and didnt take me out of ketosis.
there isnt much u could do to the strawberry... perhaps crush ice and mix strawberry... then it will taste more like a proper milkshake xx

Hiya, I feel for you with your mousse experience lol. I did it once and never again. Its like hell has been created in your mouth haha. Well done for being on your second shake though the last time I did this I lasted for 2 days then gave up so go you!! Im sure you'll do great xx

At the moment your on day 1 so I guess your at the difficult stage. For now I would take it a day at a time and aim to get through week 1! Week 1 is honestly the hardest week and Im sure everyone else will agree with me. When you get into ketosis (probably on day 3,4 or 5) you will find that you have a lot more energy and you wont feel hungry as much. Although the first week is the hardest your 1st WI will make it all worth it because its the week you will probably lose the most weight!

Are you drinking plenty of water? In my first week I did not like the shakes at all and had to drink lots of water to get rid of the horrid taste in my mouth. You may also wanna get yourself some Listerine strips or mouthwash for when you do go into ketosis coz it does make your mouth smell and gives you a bad taste, but drinking plenty of water should help.

How much are you hoping to lose if you dont mind me asking?
Also, you should make yourself a ticker, it really helps you focus on your goal and will also remind you how well your doing each week! Its a really good weigh of keeping track of your progress xxx

haha... if your feeling that bad about it at the mo.. just hold your nose and drink it! get it out of the way! honestly you will get used to the taste after a bit. I actually enjoy them now.. (yes you could also say im losing my marbles)

You will be pleasantly surprised! You could actually lose around a stone in your first week! I lost 12lbs in my first week... but then some people would argue that the more you weigh the more you will lose in first week.

I did not do any exercise in the first week.. they recommend that you wait a while before you start exercise because your body needs time to adjust to the diet and also you will feel very out of order in the first week. I started doing light exercise in the second week and then built myself up to more. I dont go to the gym or anything but do Zumba workouts and Tae-bo every day... and combine those with 8min toning exercises that I found on youtube xx

If you do feel that you want to do some kind of exercise then I would suggest a good walk first. And then build yourself up, at the end of the day if you do feel faint then stop straight away.... Make sure that you drink plenty of water when you do start exercising.

I actually like all of the shakes!
I havent tried the mousse yet... Im just doing shakes and things as normal for now until i get bored of them, then im gona try out new things..
Good luck on your first week.. It is the hardest but after that you should be fine :)

You will get used to the shakes, also you may find your palate will change, I loved the vanilla to start now can't stand it! Otherwise I swap between the others as my faves!
If you don't like it then swig them down quick like medicine!!

Hi im jst about 2 hav shake no2 strawberry.. Is der any thing i can do 2make it taste nice:confused: Had the choco 1 dis morning as d mousse.. Wasnt very nice:eek:. Had 2put it in my mouth n wash it down with water. Is it always going 2b dis hard:rolleyes::rolleyes:
I agree with everyone and u can be reasured that they only give good advise. I f you are struggling with the smells try drinking through the straw, Psychologically it pust a bit of distance between u and the liquid. It helped me no end.:)

Its true you really will get used to the shakes, I cant promise that you will love them but certainly will tolerate them. I have been known to hold my nose whilst drinking them! I only have vanilla shakes to which I add cold black coffee. Goodluck it will be worth it. by the way dreaming about food is completely natural and after the first week you will probably be watching every food programme going!! lol. XX

Ok no3 wasnt dat bad but wasnt dat gud:) Hav picked up alot of tips here 2day so thank u every1.. will be dashing out 2 the shops 2marrow 4 my sweetners and peppermint tea:)
So roll on day 2;)
And work in a sweetshop so ill have 2be strong 2marrow:confused:
I should really take a few months off work:):):)
