Day 10 of Cambridge and looking for buddies!

Not a particularly good day for me today - I'm exhausted as kids were up a lot last night plus have got a big important day in work and am stupidly busy. I'm also weirdly hungry but not had my breakfast yet so will get it in a min. I defo wont be falling off the wagon or anything like that but feel like I need a calorie boost today, perhaps the caffeine I'll add to my shake will help! xx

How are you? I haven't been around for a while because I put on 2lbs last week - and seeing as I haven't even cheated it threw me a bit. I drank water consistently this week and dropped 5lbs. Well done for reaching another milestone. Woo Woo! Another stone off is fab. I got a little rosette because I have lost 15lbs in the last month. So even though it was bleak last week its turned out alright in the end. I hope your day was good and you felt a bit more energized through the day. Jo x
 
4lb loss this week! Pleased to say I'm now in the 10's :D!!!! Bought some bars for this week to mix things up a bit

Jo - I replied to your post on Friday but it's not showing so no idea what happened there. Sorry about your gain but yay for your loss! This diet is weird, the weigh ins do seem quite random sometimes but overall you have to be losing weight consuming so few calories. The last 2 weeks I did 100% ss week 1 and week 2 had 1 dinner and 1 lunch out and off plan (but stuck 100% ss the rest of the time) and lost 3lbs both weeks - go figure??? Well done for keeping with it despite your gain, it must be so dispiriting after eating nothing so I'm impressed you carried on. We are all here to support you through the good times and the bad so stay in touch :)

After my planned evening and lunch out I was really pleased as I did not gain as I expected and even had a 3lb loss so I thought I had got away with it - however I have been STARVING from Thursday to Sunday and although I have stuck 100% ss I have been far more tempted by many different things these last few days then all the rest of the weeks put together. I can only assume it has something to do with eating and then stopping again. I know this diet is all about ketosis and I guess I'm getting back onto that but I don't think of it that way, just that I am consuming only 450 ish calories a day.

My scales are being cruel, I am desperate to be in the 9s by this Friday and I was 10st 0 3/4 yesterday and 10st 0 1/2 today - oh so cruel! I hasten to add this is on my own scales in the morning, my CDC scales weigh higher anyway plus I weigh more in the evenings.

I am out this Friday night - most definitely off plan then I'm out again 10th, 12th, 13th, 17th and 20th plus Christmas (probably more days than that can't remember everything). I was hoping to get comfortably into the 9s before all this madness started then maintain in the 9s throughout December, there's no way I can expect any losses. I might be lucky and just get in the 9s by then, on my scales rather than the CDC scales, but it is looking unlikely. I still plan to 100% ss in between but I've said on previous posts I am going to enjoy myself this month!

Still planning to get back on it for final stretch after Christmas though :)

that was fab you got 3lbs this week here`s to more like it. you ve got your dec socialising to do and you should be feeling great there is a good chance that when you do go back on for the spell before xmas you ll get a good result from it. so looking forward to getting out and about in all my lovely smaller clothes, step 3 for me next week looking forward to my bulgar wheat and smoked fish dish

You know, I was just thinking how nice it is to have someone to 'talk' to about all this and to hear other peoples experiences of the same things.

Yay for step 3! I should have been on that by now but with all my socialising this month I'm going to ss on the days I'm not out to hopefully maintain my weight throughout the month. When's your first planned event?

I have my weigh in tonight, fingers crossed I have a loss and the previous week hasn't caught up with me! My scales said 9st 13 1/4 this morning - first time I've seen a 9 in years!!!! I'm usually 3lbs ish heavier in the evenings but hopefully still a small loss. I haven't got a weigh in next week as my CDC is away but that suits me with what I've got going on socially so next weigh in isn't until 16th, need to keep focussed in between :/

thanks for checking in hope your powering along. can t believe its dec already. was trying on all my goal clothes for the event s all looking grand no unsighly bulges lurking about well think i will always have a few unwanted lumps but they are firmly under control. feeling fab as got my eyebrows sorted and love the new hair do. so feeling pretty damn grand. bugger that the pounds aint dropping but feeling well so will continue as long as i can. i am wondering what sort of tricks my body is up to its been fed 500- 800 max cals and its not giving up any of its hard gotten gains leetle rip! i will not be derailed as i am bullet proof at the mo. really gonna have to be good over this month to maintain but im going to do my very best.

when is your next night out? what fantastic outfit will you be wearing?

Hi Ladies,

I'll reply individually later (mad busy today) but wanted to give a quick update as I lost 5lbs last night so am now 9st13!!! Really shocked when I stepped on the scales, was hoping for a lb or 2. I'm now back in ALL my size 10s and a couple of them are even too big for me - can't believe it!! On a bit of a high today and feel like I'm not going to go mad on my planned events, was planning desserts, alcohol, the lot but now maybe skipping the desserts but we'll see!

Tomorrow night does not count, I am officially taking a night off!!

I posted on facebook last night about my 34lb loss, 1st time I've mentioned dieting to anyone except nearest and dearest and I got an amazing response which was a good boost!

Jen - you sound really on form, so thrilled for you! I'm wearing one of the dresses I bought for my honeymoon tomorrow night plus some killer heels!

AMAZING AMAZING with that loss! What's your plan now considering the clothes goal's been reached? Still planning on getting to that 9st5lb? I'm sure you'll be somewhere near by Christmas, even with your planned events, you seem to be making the best decisions!

Another social evening last night and I was really good up until pudding...today's another day and I WILL be back on track for the weekend. Not looking forward to sitting down with CDC on Saturday - I think i'll still be in trouble with the scales...

Sorry I haven't been on here, to say I've been busy at work is an understatement, I'm currently trying to do 2 full time jobs as my colleague is off sick.

After my massive 3 course and alcohol meal on Friday I've been 100% ss except when I cooked with my little girl on Saturday and I had a little bit of the dinner we made. Got my xmas work lunch tomorrow (all free food and drink) which is going to be a tough one then meals out on Friday and Saturday then friends over on Sunday. Scales showing at 9 11 this morning, as long as I keep in the 9s until Christmas I'll be happy.

I'll try and check in with you all over the next few days. Hope you're all doing fab and managing well at this horribly tempting time of year!

Hi everyone hope you're all doing well! Bad week for me last week and no weigh in so next weigh in is Saturday, 100%ss this week so hopefully see some sort of loss!!!
 
Forgive me CDC for I have sinned. This is my first confession.

Well it started Wednesday with my lunch out with work turning into 3 courses, copious numbers of cocktails, baileys etc..I shudder just thinking about it. I then was good and stuck to ss on Thursday....then Friday came. I had a planned Christmas lunch on which I ate more than my body weight in all things naughty, then for some reason even though my stomach was hurting I had a Chinese Friday night :( I was up all night Friday night as my tummy was so sore. Had another planned day out on Saturday so I had a burger and chips and some cake and 2 mince pies then Sunday we had plans with friends (I had planned my chicken and veg meal) which got cancelled so ended up going out for a 2 course Sunday lunch then had toast later on that night and a chocolate bar. I've probably missed out a load of stuff I feel like I actually haven't stopped eating. At this point I definitely had the "aaahhh sod it" attitude!

It's really not like me when I'm on something I'm on it and I do have great willpower so I really don't know what happened. I'm back on ss now for 2 days but I have my planned spa day on Wednesday, a meal and cocktails out on Thursday, dinners at mine Saturday and Sunday then Christmas eve meal out and Christmas day. My hubby is also taking me away for my birthday beginning of January and I've been promised champagne afternoon tea as part of that.

The only thing I can do is ss in between as I originally planned and get through it all until next year. The worst thing was I didn't even enjoy eating most of it and I felt so ill last night :( Weigh in tomorrow morning...aaaahhhhh!!
