Day 2 and a blip (well sort of)

Ive had a chocmint shake for brekkie (well midmorning) and downed 4 ltrs of water, kids came home from school and after their tea asked if they could have some of their easter eggs they had left,so I agreed, the smell of the choc drove me mad :cry: so I thought I would cheat in a good way (???) and Ive just had a cambridge bar I had left over from last time , (hope it wont do me any harm as its only my second day)

I had a blip on my second day and ended up with cheesy chips on a night out with my girlie friends so i think you are doing extreemly well to only eat something that is on the diet anyway........ok so your not supposed to have the bars yet (well i dont think you are?) but at least you didnt polish off a whole easter egg! :)

I wouldn't imagine it would do you too much harm. My first CDC,said she would rather I had an extra shake or bar,rather than piggin' out on regular food.So I did,and it's done me no harm whatsoever.I wouldn't do it too often though;)

Yeah I think you did great resisting. Half a bar extra still keeps your intake of calories/carbs really low so I doubt it will effect anything.
its not an extra, i had it instead of my soup as I needed choc lol, so Im still only having 3 items today its just 1 of them is a bar that i shouldnt have till week 3:eek:

Oh sorry missed that.
I started having bars in week 2. I dont think its to much of an issue having them from the start unless you are easily knocked out of ketosis hence why its good not to do it right away. I wouldn't worry about it though. Even if its knocked you out of ketosis (which it wont have) then it wont take long to get back into it because the amount of extra carbs in a bar aint gonna let your body burn carbs for long so it will need to go back to fat.
