Delivery question??

My bumber pack is coming Monday and I wont be home during the day as working, I put a note on the order to put through the gate it not home.

Will they or Must it be signed for? Im really worrying as I started today but only have enough till my pack arrives

It has to be signed for as far as I know but when I was struggling with my delivery the delivery company did say that if I'd written in the notes then they would put itinmy garden.

I wasn't in when my first delivery arrived but they got a neighbour to sign for it.
