A toddler zaps you of all your energy lol. Its difficult juggling housework, job/studying and children, but we wouldn't have it any other way xxx

Had a great day today though my points have taken a hammering!!
I dropped Ross of at school this morning as he had so many presents to take. He skipped off quite happily into the playground and seeing him so happy made my heart melt. I know he was going to have so much joy in giving his presents to his teachers
Hubby was off today so we had a little lunch at costa. It was good to chill out and watch the world go by. I made baileys & white chocolate fudge for my hampers so thats something else off my list!
The 3 of us went out for dinner to celebrate the holidays and we had a great night.

Hubby was working in Edinburgh today so I decided to hitch a lift. He was only at work for 3 hours so he joined us once he finished. We got there at 11 and came home at 21.45. What a long but enjoyable day.
We went to the continental market. Its the biggest I've ever seen. I resisted all the mulled wine, bratwurst and Aberdeen Angus burgers. The smells wafting from these stalls were AMAZING!!! There was a huge fairground too but it rained the whole day. Even though we were soaked through, it didnt dampen our spirits

Leek & potato soup 4pp (didnt take much, it wasnt very nice. You could see the oil floating on top. I tried to scoop out the chunks of veg and avoid the liquid)
Chicken in a tomato sauce with capers, new potatoes, salad & veg 10pp Not a very big portion. The childrens meals were bigger!!
A mouthful of hubbys bruschetta 2pp

Sounds like you had a lovely day. We have a little Christmas market in the city over from us and I had to resist it all yesterday. It all looks so good. Next year I want to Go to Germany for a proper Christmas market

it is AMAZING!! Too fecking good in fact lol. When I read the reviews, many people said it was crumbly and mine turned out that way too but still delicious. I've wrapped it in cellophane with a lovely Christmas ribbon ready to pop into my hampers. I made turkish delight today too. I need to leave it to set for 24 hrs so don't know how that will be until tomorrow xxx

A day of many chores which included making turkish delight, icing my cakes, wrapping up all the presents, visiting the in laws and I collapsed on the couch at 23.30!!

Dinner didnt quite go to plan. I roasted some pork and intended having gravy, spuds, veg etc. but due to time, we ended up with chips from the chippy. I had about 6 but I had a baked potato with my pork instead.

Oh well, tomorrow will be another manic day lol.

Cakes look lovely too, I made my uncle a chocolate + coffee birthday cake earlier, love how my Grandparents' always seem to have the ingredients for pretty much anything ;p

Cakes look lovely too, I made my uncle a chocolate + coffee birthday cake earlier, love how my Grandparents' always seem to have the ingredients for pretty much anything ;p

We are going to my Mum & Dads for dinner. It'll be a traditional roast turkey & Christmas pudding to follow. My Mum is an amazing cook. She used to work in a Hotel and still to this day she comes up with some amazing dishes that she used to do when she was a cook. People ask her to make Christmas puddings for them. Shes a legend!!!
I know what you mean about ingredients, if I don't have it I know my Mum will. She stays closer to me than the shops & I end up nipping round to hers lol.

I will never do hampers again!!! There was tok much work involved, and a lot of the things were last minute so I couldn't do them any earlier. I made 3 lots of biscuits this afternoon and by 5pm I wanted to cry. I'd had enough. I just want to soak and relax in a bath then chill out with a glass of wine!!! The turkish delight is ok. Its a bit chewy but still tasty. Anyway, it's bagged and decorated with a lovely bow.
Still got dinner to think about............ xxx

Went to weigh in today. Class was moved forward to 1pm and I lost 3 lbs so happy happy happy!! I also got my 50lbs award, but my leader forgot my certificate lol. She was really annoyed with herself as she said it would have been great to give me it for Christmas, but I'll get it next week.
I bought 'It's a wonderful life' to watch later. I've never seen it so my plan is to enjoy my bath with a bath bomb from lush, get my new jammies on and watch the movie with a glass of vino and some munchies
