Hi Di,

Yes, the Consultant spoke about it yesterday in group and she also mentioned the porridge allowance has increased from 35grams to 40grams per day. I wonder why the sudden changes ?? e

We were given a new page to insert in our Healthy Extra pages. The cereals with added sugar have all been removed and the no added sugar ones have quantities increased.

I can half understand about the cous cous being synned - and half not. The consultant said if the cake was consumed in addition to other meals then you would be eating a lot more calories in food. But I was eating it as a lunch that was quick, easy and tasty. Any how ... thats the rules.

Hi Di, quick question please. Do you snack on free | speed | foods in between meals? Into my 2nd week with SW and my brain still wants to calorie count everything !!! and worried my calorie increase will sabotage my SW plan....if that makes sense.

My 1st week loss was low -2.5, so was wondering if this is the reason why??
I had far too many mug shots, etc on week (1 )so have eased off them week. What do u think?

I haven't felt the need to snack between meals ... so far. I usually have something in the evening like a yoghurt or fruit. Unusually for me to feel so full. Speed foods always seem to be the answer (but moderation in all things). This is the first time I have been so focused. I usually sneak bits of this and bits of that in. I've chosen sensible on plan foods if I'm out (regretfully I must say as my hubby sits opposite me eating the foods I would have usually chosen) and still not sneaked a chip. It was hubby's birthday on Wednesday and although I made him muffins he has eaten them all himself. I did make myself a mincemeat cous cous cake thinking I was sticking to plan to find out that the cous cous was synned (see Wednesdays menu!!!) Good luck with your journey.

Many thnx Di for your reply, that's great, like you said 'moderation' is the keyword for sure. Keeping the online journal is fabulous, and I'm also happy that I started SW before the Christmas period !!

This site is such an invaluable tool to me, I would be lost without it. Best of luck and happiness to you also, we can do this !!! e x
