Do you think its possible to lose a stone in 3 weeks???? I need your help...

Hi all,

Back again!!!!

I'm being a bridesmaid in 3 weeks, and my dress has arrived today. I can't fasten the zip!!!! It's a side zip and about 2 inches short of fastening.

If I am super good........and do lots of exercise...........and eat really healthily....do you think I could fit in this dress in 3 weeks???

I've no idea, but you could try loads of speed food, maybe a fishy week, loads of water & be extra, extra good....good luck xx

I suggest red days only and just speed foods! Lots of speed fish and veg and lots of water!!

gotta be honest - I think a stone in 3 weeks is pushing it! It is do-able as I did it, but I am carrying a lot more excess weight than you

I have mainly red days and I have superspeed foods between meals as well as trying to fit a bit of exercise in (kickboxing and swimming). Best of luck trying x

Very similar happened with my wedding dress a week before the wedding. I practically ate nothing for a week. I had a slimfast for breakfast and one at lunch and a weightwatchers meal in the eve. It was an utter nightmare. I went into an old ladies lingerie shop and she told me to bring the dress in and we did. She fitted me with a long line bra which went to the waist and it pulled everything in enough to get the dress done up. I lost 1 stone 3lb in that week and the dress went on but my new husband just fell about laughing when he saw my underware!!!

Tuna salads, fish cakes, fish curry, prawn stir-fry, grilled fish with veg, smoked salmon & scrambled eggs that's all I can think off not very inspirational.....

You need to stick to it 100% and if you find carbs bloat you try & stay away from them. Lots of melon & strawberries are they are speedy.

I'd say still have your syns otherwise you might find you'll crack & might binge (I would)

I'm going to have scrmabled eggs on 1 slice toast for brekkie, I've made a tuna and egg salad for lunch, and planning on salmon, roast veg and cous cous for tea. Fruit & yoghurt for snacks.

Planning on a half hour walk/jog with the dog before work and then an hour in the gym after work.

Bring it on!!!! hahahah

Really- you may not need to lose a stone in 3 weeks- that in itself, going by your current weight, is going to be difficult, unless your metabolism is massively fast- i've got to be honest.

I started 10 stone overweight and the most I have lost in 3 weeks is 12lb. You want to average 4 1/2lb a week.

Where does the stone come from? Maybe you don't need to lose a stone in that time frame, but maybe need to tone up?

I would say, focus on inches rather than weight. Do lots of exercise focussed on the areas you need to lose the inches and stick to plan 100%. Personally, I do extra easy, because I can't exercise without a lot of carbs for energy- but everyone is different- if red days work for you, try it :)

No, it helps loads, honestly.

You're right, I may not need to lose a stone to get the zip up but just felt it gave me something to aim for.

The dress fits me round the tummy/hips etc (it will look better with some spanx!!) but I just can't do the side zip up because of my boobs! So I'm planning on cutting the carbs down as these do tend to bloat me and try and eat as much veg and fish as possible. And drink loads of water!!

Get the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred DVD! It's fab for inch loss! It's just over 20 mins long, but it's hard-core toning and very full on.
I was reading ur post there abt loosing a stone in 3weeks. I wud love to loose a stone in 3weeks as hubby n me r away to a hotel for few nites. I was wondering if u fancied being sw buddies to help keep eachother on track?? Do u go to group? I was 12st 6 last wed nite at group! I have lost 1 stone 7 so far. Xx

Not meaning to be negative, but if it fits everywhere else BUT your boobs, is it not the dress shape thats wrong????

When it fits your boobs, it will be too big on your hips, tummy

Hope your plan does work, but just as a back-up is there another size or dress you could wear? (sorry don't know if your the only bridesmaid or if your 1 of a few) x
