Heya all, just wondering, does any1 else find cooking for others comforting whilst on TFR?. I find myself rushing to kitchen whenever someones hungry so that I can cook them food lol, I am a chef in proffesion and it may seem strange that it makes me feel better to be able to cook for others and watch them eat as I cant myself. Are there others out there or its only my strange self??:)

My name is Fiona and I'm a cookoholic! Always loved cooking (and eating it) but now am so enjoying cooking for hubby and Megs. I sit down with my shake or glass of water and really love watching them eat! It doesn't bother me at all that I'm not joining them.
Have even started baking muffins to take to work for the staff, so I'm boss of the year at the mo!

cooking for my husband and my friends has really helped me, i love cooking, the only thing is its a bit hard cause you cant taste test anything!!;0) so im running around with a spoon al the time getting my hubby to taste every thing for me!!( he doesn't complain:0) )

also if i have a craving for something i make it for him, so hes getting fatter as im getting skinnier lol :0)

but now i am cooking him the healthy gi meals that i plan to have when im finished my time on LT ( sounds like jail! guess it is a bit for all the food i scoffed i'm doin my penance now!!)no goin back to before!!

Hahaha! I'm just the same. Especially like you Mich and hubby's waist is expanding. I too find the not tasting frustrating. It's like driving, blind folded! But I also love to give everything a good sniff. My sense of smell seems to be heightened. I love BBQ's and at the moment, I can smell a sausage from 100 metres!

Before lipotrim I never cooked but now I cant seem to stop. I think its because it puts abit of structure to my day because I normally have my shake on the move. I thought I was the only one, madness!

lol, I love to cook for my other half and my daughter at the moment!!! I think it's def a comfort thing, at least you get the 1st half of a meal (the preparing it) you just dont get 2 eat it. It tricks me into thinking i've eaten whatever i've cooked! but like you girls my fella is expanding by the day hee hee xx
