Does the hunger calm down at some point on 810 like it does on SS?

Morning!

I am on Day 4 of 810 and I am still ravenous.

I was not an emotional or habitual eater before starting CD (have maintained BMI 24 for 8 years after 5st weight loss) and naively assumed that I would probably not be affected by the hunger but boy oh boy - my tummy is always talking and it's so embarrassing when it starts talking in front of people! Lol!

I'm not on the verge of quitting or anything but I just want to know if anyone else has this problem with 810 and if so do you think it's caused by the additional meal we eat?

I peed on a ketostik yesterday and it tells me I'm in ketosis so I need to know if this hunger will ever go away or if it's just something you have to deal with all the way through 810.

I've been drinking 4 pints of water a day. Maybe I should be drinking more?

Any ideas?

I'm on 810 and don't get the hunger pangs or the tummy rumblings.....I drink about 3 litres of water a day so suggest you increase the water a bit to see if that works. Let me know how it goes? Have WI shortly and hopeful of 3lb loss.....fingers crossed.

Phew! Thanks guys! I am setting myself a challenge to drink more water today to see if that helps.

Also, I know some might think this is mad but because it's Saturday I'm even thinking about going to the pub tonight because it'll push me to drink more water if I have to keep up with my buddies drinking pints. :D And tap water is free in pubs it so will be a very cheap night out as long as I don't have to buy a round!!!

I tested myself last night at a BB finale get together at my mate's house and while they all drank wine and munched on posh crisps and chocolates I drank water all night and wasn't tempted at all. I drank my water out of a wine glass which really helped.

I don't want to shut myself away from my social life because I'm on CD. I find the hardest part sitting at home in front of the tv in the evenings.
