DOING SW FROM HOME???

Everyone has had fab losses this week! Well done!

This might be a silly question, when people say they've lost inches is there a guide to where you should measure? I'm not even sure I know where my waist is

When I started running last March I took all my measurements, waist (round over belly button), boobs (biggest part and underneath), hips (over the biggest bit) and thighs (half way between knee and hip). Forgot upper arm, which I'm peed about! Definitely recommend taking measurements to everyone, it's amazing to see the difference :)

Couldn't agree more. Once you get to target doesn't mean you'll be able to sit eating cheeseburgers hence why you should allow yourself a treat every now and again.

2lbs off for me this week :)

I was quite happy with my weight at christmas so ate what I wanted and very quickly put 8lbs on! Totally freaked me out, maintaining is just as hard as loosing I think. Mentally, I should be able to eat what I like, big no no, unfortunately!!

Thanks Jen! I'm excited about going home and measuring (wild Friday night plans!). Gonna do my calves too as I really want to be able to fit in some cool wellies!

It happened to me both Christmas an holiday and I was a bit more restrained than usual Unbelievable how quickly it goes back on scary too I've never known me to put on weight so quickly and hard to loose again

Thanks ultrabluedress! I have a similar lack of waist, just goes boobs, belly, hips, bum. :sigh:

I just wish my boobs were bigger than my tummy

Ladies I'm hopefully off to the big chinese cash and carry tomorrow primarily to buy a load of chopsticks for Monday night, I want to cook more chinese meals it is one of my goals for this year master chinese and Indian recipes so does anybody have any tips on spices etc I should buy other than soy sauce and five spice..

I have gone to two indian cookery courses and would really recommend going if you have some in community school or local college. Well worth it.

I can give you the list of spices that we were given so you know what ones are usually used

Well done on the losses peeps! Hoping for something decent on Tuesday if not I'm going to shoot myself or eat cake. Will probably not do either, but will feel like eating a big piece of chocolate cake and stuffing it in my mouth. Ahhhh gone are those days.

Laura could you look up if you still have access what LM red onion and leek lattice parcels are or whatever they are called. I'm doing green and I'm demanding them to be something decent syn wise rather then stupid 20= 1 syn otherwise one is like 20 syns. I have 3 in the freezer and want to use them up. I feel sorry for my mates all they do is eat my good food and chocolate!

Hi, sorry to say they are 23.5 syns each on EE! :(

Sorry that's 23.5 on red and green too! Just spotted you said your doing green!

sorry just noticed you said for green too underneath. Grrrrrr they are yummy. Now what am I going to have for tea? I have cauliflower and that's it at the moment.

Thanks for looking

I've no idea what to have either! I've got a leftover chilli con carne but really fancy an Indian tonight! Might be a chicken jalfrezi for 8.5 syns I think! :D

I might have huge plate of cauliflower cheese with limited cheese. I might add some fish cakes for 6 syns or some chips for 4.5 or onion rings for whatever they are for 100 or 150g

Palm sugar is good for Asian recipes, really good fish sauce and dark sesame oil as u only need a really small amount to flavour, 7 spice and soy bean paste too :) x

Ps.. Totally hear ya on the surprising Xmas gain! Im used to gaining quite a bit and the scales dropping back down fast so it's nearly always carb and booze bloat but this Xmas one was a proper gain, as its taking ages to come back off :( weird as I was on holiday for nearly 3 weeks and ate/drank what I wanted and didn't gain! Bodies are weird! X

Question, when you guys do rice pudding on ee/green, do you use the milk as hexa? I fancy it tonight with some options mixed in but had my hexa already today. Can't do green day as got salmon for tea so I can't have it then??

I use half milk half water so I can still have a bit of a hot chocolate later. I find I have to add a lot of vanilla and fake sugar though so I'm trying to figure out how to make it tasty

can you not syn your milk? I've also used water on it's own and I'm not sure why I put half and half together
