DOING SW FROM HOME???

it is 4 for 174 kcal so just over 8. No way I can eat two mini choc bars for that or 1.5 packets of crisps. Plus I love them and I would have serious issue of sticking to only 4 unless that is all I put in the oven.

Thank you love xx

Just about to tuck into a recipe out of the free booklet that came with the latest SW mag.... Cheesy broccoli and potato bake, will let you all know how it is :)

Well that was delicious! Will post a piccy later. Thank you Jenny and MrsEbb too ;-)

Hi i am also new to this page and doing it from home, been recommended by a friend from work. i started with slimming world but didn't find the consultant very good or very helpful so I'm out on my own!

Hello there, hope you find the site useful x

Definite no to cous cous on red days, I wish! Red is no carbs at all.

Got a new frying pan from asda today, £4!! Cooking my salmon, I love proper non stick pans lol

That cake is looking at me, looks very very naughty, darn it!

Hey Natalie. Have a good read through here. If you need to know anything, just ask as I am sure someone on here will know the answer x

Haha! Jen you sound like me! I get excited over good pans too! Been trying to find a reasonably priced big one for paellas, all fairly expensive tho! Will wait until someone goes to Spain and they can bring me one back (I hope!)

Ooo raven I saw that! Been wanting to make it as a side dish for some roast chicken rather than a big main. Good to know its nice :)

Dinner was yum! Love thai curry so much. X

Ps! Hi Natalie! Welcome! X

I love new kitchen gadgets! Waiting for a garlic press to arrive, it's the small things :)

Had defrosted some ex lean mince intending to make a cottage pie, but couldn`t be bothered. So I`ve done some home made burgers for tomorrow. They`re in the fridge now. I find that leaving them in the fridge means their less likely to fall apart when i cook them. Not so long ago i`d never have made my own burgers, just reached for the frozen ones. I hope i can keep going with all this planning and making my own stuff. I tend to give up when disheartened. Also after being married for over 30 years i got into a bit of a rut with my cooking.

Got wi tomorrow - fingers crossed!
I mak emy own burgers (different favours) every month and freeze them for when needed

Well, official wi is a 2lb loss so very happy with that with 5 days on plan. Just 3.5lbs to target, taking sooo long to get there ha!
Woohoo well done. Goal how fantastic

2.5 off this week and that takes me into the 11's, Yeah!!!!!!!! I'm really happy as I've had 2 bad syn days and still lost. Its also given me a boost of confidence to be getting closer to my target of 10,10. Hope you other Friday girls are having a good result too :) Ruth x
Well done. Obviously that big bar of chocolate did not stop your losses

When the scales show a 2lb loss :) xx
Well done Charl that is a good loss

Anyway - on to the important news! ;D WI this morning and I lost... 5lbs! All that worrying was for nothing and I'm back at 11st :) Well actually, it looked a tiny but under 11, but I'm not jinxing it with half pounds etc haha! Very happy with that :D
Excellent work Laura. Well done Missy

Couldn't agree more. Once you get to target doesn't mean you'll be able to sit eating cheeseburgers hence why you should allow yourself a treat every now and again. 2lbs off for me this week :)
so true and well done on such a good loss

Yes, it does have quark in, i got mine from Asda, i had to ask where it was, lol. Think it was near the yoghurt tho not 100% sure now as my memory is poo. I put 4 cloves of garlic in instead of 3 cos i lurve garlic and omitted the peas cos i don't like them but it was yummy without x

I got some fromage frais from Asda too cos i'm going to make the cheesy tuna pasta bake for OH to take to work when he's on nights, and the Welsh onion cake cos he's Welsh ;-)

Gosh I can barely keep up with you gals tonight... some lovely recipes I'm going to have to keep a file open on my laptop too copy and paste to

Experimented tonight with chili topped chicken and it came out yum used a tiny bit of mince in with the chilli but next time I won't add it it will taste okay without it, had it with roasted peppers, mushroom and red onion. definately will do again... now time for a cup of tea to stop me picking at the mini smarties I found lying loose in the chocolate tin

almost on plan apart from two chocolates and some of hubs muffin at lunch time fingers crossed for tomorrow WI

Just looking at your stats, it's amazing! I bet you feel fantastic, what size clothes are you wearing now? Soooo close to target now! You gonna then maintain or set a new goal? I've got 3.5lbs to target, think I will set another.

Just thought I'd say how fantastic you are, a real inspiration for all the lovely peeps on here x
