Beef Rendang
Right if you can get hold of coconut essence, this would be syn free, however, i had to use a whole tin of light coconut milk, however, there was over a tin left once it wa served up, was scrummy

Served with rice, fresh coriander and curry mushrooms (mush, 1tbsp tikka masala paste - which makes a delicious meal on its own and lovely with jacket spud)

both those dishes look amazing! not a fan of coconut tho.. lol

I had to comment on your lovely diary! I read the entire thread today I couldn't stop reading

Firstly I wanted to say I hope your mum is well and staying strong (Hubby echoes this as he was asking how she was when I told him) Your going through so much I hope your ok but you seem to have a very supportive family

Your pictures are amazingly yummy! I restarted slimming world today and itching to try some of your recipes!

Well done on your amazing losses and I hope you get your 3 1/2 stone sticker really soon! I'll be reading to find out your so motivational and even when your going through times of extreme stress you manage to keep your eating under control

:553: Really well done!!!!

Hi there, thank you so much for such a gorgeous message, normally i would be reaching for all sorts of rubbish under the slightest amount of stress so i do feel i have come a long way but i think my head is in the right place and posting
here with all my sw friends is my main focus and brilliant motivation

have you started a diary - would seriously recommend it, this keeps me on the straight and narrow, there are also brilliant recipes on the recipe board, i have found exactly the meal i wanted or something better, the family are all eating the same which never happened on weight watchers and i feel so much better in myself

You are right i have an amazing extended family which i am eternally grateful for, i wouldnt swap them for anything

welcome back to sw, look forward to getting to know you, be sure to start your diary and i will pop over for a cuppa!

Well done on your result this week Donna, really brilliant to lose so well again.
The dishes look very scrummy - could you post the recipe for the Chorizo bake one?
I love all the new meals I'm trying these days, it makes it all seem so effortless to keep to the plan (except for the call of the toblerone from time to time)
Good luck for next week too.

Well done on your loss Donna, that's fantastic!!

I would be interested in the bake recipe and I will substitute something veggie in place of the chorizo!! :D

:party0011::party0019::party0011:

Woweee well done honey - you deserve every ounce of those 3lbs!!

That curry looks delish. I'm thinking of making a coconut based curry (there are loads in the new delicious magazine) but a bit scared of the syns in coconut milk and the fact I'll probably throw away over half the tin to try and keep the syns down. Do you know if coconut based sauces freeze well? That could be my solution...

Fingers crossed for that 2lb to come off next week

well done donna thats a really good loss especially with the strain u've been under :) i see u r about the same weight as me and our targets are the same too mmmmm bit of competition lol hope ur ok love val xx

And your food...food porn alert!!! I will have to be trying out that pepper, chorizo and egg bake, and the beef rendang. Mmmmm! Yum!! xx
