Exercise ?????

    Hi
    How long does it take before you were exercising as well on Atkins as pre low carb?

    I am on day 6 of induction and have lost 7 pounds so far (4 stone in total to lose). Prior to Atkins I had started working out after years of inactivity and although my weights routine was hard it was doable. Today is the first day I have worked out other than walking etc.) on Atkins and it was sooooooooooo hard ad afterwards I felt really sleepy. I know the sensible thing to do is make my work out a bit easier until I have settled but I’m not going to :)

    Anyone?
    I love the diet but feel worse today exercise wise (day 7) just a 30 min walk with dogs feels like the end of 10 miles. Does it get better?

    Yes you will get more energy, it just takes a while for the body to adjust from the short burst insulin spiked energy when you eat carbs. Varies from person to person.

    eating healthily
    You'll get there, the rush of energy will come when you get into ketosis and you will be able to do your excersise. I do 90 minutes + of dog walking a day, recently started treadmill running and regularly do wii fit (mainly stepping). So it will come
