Extra Easy: Mayflower sauce how do u make urs?

    Hi there I bought the very much hyped up mayflower sauce from farm foods. I drove 12 miles to get it and I didn't think it was tasty? It was nice but not as amazing as everyone says.

    Do any of u add any spices?

    Just the cold water and power in the pot and stir it with a whisk while cooking x

    Depends how hot u like ur curry sauce and wat u hav with it.

    I hav mine with chicken, fried onions, peppers, normally leeks too and rice.

    Well I'm not one for hot curries but I like a bit of flavour.

    Love Petes peanut curry, a good old tikka masala and korma etc. But not a madras etc x

    I add mine dry to the meat and onions etc then add water bit by bit as I like a really thick curry. I really like it

    How to you work out the syn value on the mayflower? Do you go by spoon size before you add it to water or how many ml it it when made up?

    28g of dried mayflower is 5 syns :) HTH

    I weigh mines out dry on the scales then that way it doesn't matter how much water I add to it x

    I used some of this last night and it was really runny :(

    I like a thick curry so may do as suggested above
