Extra Easy SP Extra Easy SP Plan

Hi would the superspeed Heinz style tomatoe soup be sp?

2 tins chopped tomatoe
1 tin carrots drained
1 tin baked beans
Chicken oxo
Half pint water
1 pickled onion

I feel right fat after christmas but I couldn't make group this week so gotta wait until wed to get my new pack.

Yes, looks good - baked beans are P and everything else is S

Brilliant thankyou. Is asda chickpea dahl that used to be free a p??

Good question hun as chickpeas are a P food but I dont think there is a way of checking branded foods on the app/site to see if they are SP friendly. x

My Extra Easy SP Soup

Speed Foods:
Butternut squash, fresh tomatoes, tinned tomatoes, passata, chillies, onion & red peppers
Protein Foods:
A few red lentils for good measure.
Then I added some vegetable stock & salt & pepper & I am cooking it right now for around 20-30 minutes or until soft. I will then blitz it smooth.

I think I will be trying the sp plan just need to think of things I can replace my carbs with. Pretty much every dinner has some form of potato or pasta with it.

I've been bulking my meals out with more vegetables instead or last night I fancied chips so made butternut squash chips x

Looking at the new SW SP plan, it looks like it might be good for me! Only one question though - what gluten free healthy extra b choices are there now that oil has been removed? Is it just nuts?

Hi Pippalata
You can still have the usual gluten free breads that are listed on the SW site as HEB choice. They are just not listed in the book I think because there only put a few ideas in there.
I like the D/S white ciabatta rolls which are gluten free or there is the Glutafin white sliced bread on there too. Also the Bfree range is on there as well as 4 plain rice cakes (gluten free members only). xxx

Thanks for this :) I'm trying to move away from processed food this year so was hoping to avoid GF bread and opt for oils and nuts and natural things instead. I'm a bit gutted than oil has been removed xx

There is a comment on the website that no branded food has a P symbol as they can't be sure of the protein content. No Linda McCarney Red Onion and Rosemary sausages either I think. Free on EE but not part of EE SP.

That looks fab!

I won't be able to get a new pack till next week and would like to try sp tomorrow. I've been really bad over Christmas. Has anybody got the list of p foods that they could share please. I'm presuming that the s foods are the same as the s and ss foods in my current (2014) pack. Thanks guys this threads been really helpful

I'm starting SP on Monday when I get home from hols. Shopping down, the biggest change will be my fruit bowl and lack of carbs, but I'd planned to really reduce carbs anyway as I was considering Paleo for a change.
Quite looking forward to it.

The S and SS fruit and veg from the old plan do not correlate completely with S in the new plan - mostly they do but you need the new books to do SP precisely. I am sure it would do as an approximation for this week though :)

its the reason this forum can continue! SW don't want lists reproducing, it's what members pay for. All info is online if members can't get to group.

I know that only so much info can be shared on this forum but the resentment some paying members have (and I am a paying member btw) towards those who are not is quite staggering sometimes. Sad really.
