Anyone know anything about eye tests ??
Paul and I both went to Spec-savers on Monday and had eye tests. They were brilliant, the optician was so thorough.
He has referred me to a specialist at the local hospital for further tests because he wasn't happy with the pressure test on my right eye. I do not understand why.
When we compared notes on our respective tests they varied quite a bit and they were both with the same optician.
I had drops put in my eyes Paul didn't. My test took 20 minutes, Paul's took 10 minutes.
We both need glasses for reading and close work. I already have mine they did them the same day.
We have no complaints about Spec-savers ( they are new here) in fact quite the opposite. We found them to be friendly, helpful and super efficient and there prices are amazing, so reasonable.
Anyway I just wondered if anyone could throw some light on why I need a referral
