Feel completely rubbish. Only 5 days in and already failed.

Had half a chicken breast. What's worse is that I wasn't even hungry. Just craving something and gave in. So disappointed in myself. I am determined to pick myself up but if I cant even manage 5 days how am I ever going do this long term??

You will. Forget about it now. Today's a new day. Pretend yesterday never happened but learn from it. Chin up Chanie, you're doing great to get to day 5...keep going...be determined. Come on here if you're tempted again & we'll see you through x

Thanks Tidy. Am trying to move on. If I keep kicking myself over it I'm just going to give up completely!
So onwards and upwards. Just need to hope it hasn't affected this weeks weight loss!

Don't stress about it, I did the same when I got to day 12, then ruined it. At least you have had something healthy and now the urge is out of your system. Pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and start again. This time set yourself a target. You have done 5 days so tell yourself this time I will do 10 days. Once you hit 10 days, reset your target. If you take it one day at a time it is not so daunting!!!
Don't give up and think how much good you have done your body by the 5 days of not eating any rubbish.
Good luck and be proud for what you have done, and what you will do this time.

I agree with TracyAnne & everything she said. One thing she said hit home with me...take 1 day at a time & don't look too far forward. The first few days after I started I had my calculator out, my diary & spent the time calculating how long it'd take me to loose my weight...I calculated 13 weeks...it nearly killed! Then eventually I stopped thinking like that & took one day at a time...before I knew it I was there (well this Tuesday coming I will be PG). So one day at a time, you'll see the weight drop off & yesterday will be a distant memory x

Everyone makes mistakes its how we learn from them that makes us grow. Just remember how you felt after you eat and keep that feeling with you if you are tempted again. I wouldn't be so negative about having a blip on day 5 as this is actually one of the worse days on LT so once you get by the first week you can get by the next etc. Just remember why you are doing this and how you will feel WHEN you get to goal :) x

Chanie...I have to say ...don't beat yourself up. Your human it was a blip! Think of what you would of eaten before you were on this diet then look at what you actually gave into. Chicken...that's on refeed...and tbh I'd be surprised if you've actually done any damage to yourself.

I have had rough times and gotten back on the wagon again...as long as you don't give up trying then you'll get to goal honey :) x x x keep strong x x x

i messed up a treat the other day, had toast and chips! ended up losing a pound the next day. magic! you'll be fine.

Yeah you'll be fine. I munched 2.5 chicken breasts and a hard boiled egg over 4 days in week 2 (as well as my three shakes). I still lost 1kg... although the next week when I was 100% I lost 2kg!! Don't worry about it. Just move on. This is a hard diet so don't beat yourself up for wanting to eat but celebrate when you get through another day 100& - as you're 1 day closer to target xxx
