Well it would be awful if we inflicted bad cake on our nearest & dearest, wouldn't it?

I did make a big batch of rolls for the day I was feeding the entire populace with soup.
They were lovely. But I haven't made any since. They're far too edible.

mmm thats the downside with baking mmmmm homemade bread and rolls. I won't start doing them or I would eat them. I must check the fruit cake though as I really don't want my family to be ill if its not edible. Mind you I notice half of it has gone already xxxxxxx

I might have a go at making Dawnies roulade and also the chickpea cake as it sounds interesting. When I get time of course as work is getting busy now. Got the melter sorted btw... the problem was the copper probe thingy wasn't registering on the thermostat.

It's never good when your copper probe thingy doesn't register.
I find that all the time.
Usually it's that it's all gummed up with mashed potato...

Thats why I've had to stop baking cakes, flapjacks, tiffin, cheescake, banoffee pie, pies, crumbles, strudel etc, coz I have to "just try a little bit" which happens a dozen times a day :8855:

Had to go to the Hospital to get Andy's Myeloma blood count....

Btw thanks for the interest in my soaps etc. I am in the process of updating my website as it went all corrupted when the website host introduced multiple columns :cry::cry:
I should have it up and running soon so will post it here for you to have a little look...

I have had a very good week and have not gone off plan at all.
