Fighting the fat in Jan - 31 hour challenge!

Hi all!
After reading a few diaries and posts I have decided to start my own fitness diary! Hope this is okay.

I am going to try to do 31 hours of exercise, for the 31 days in Jan.

Thanks to the wii challenge posts I am going to include my wii times too!

Good luck to anyone else hoping to fit in more fitness this year!

02/01/11: body attack - 1 hour
body pump - 1 hour
wii fit - 30 mins

26 and a half hours (and hopefully 10 pounds) to go :p xx

I think that's an absolutely fantastic idea. I'm tempted to join you lol, but i'm very prone to taking rest days due to my muscles getting sore after some workouts, and never do more than an hour a day, so virtually impossible, but good luck to you hun :)

EDIT: You know what, im gonna hold a similar challenge for myself, except mine will be to exercise everyday from today (3rd january to 31st january).

I think that's an absolutely fantastic idea. I'm tempted to join you lol, but i'm very prone to taking rest days due to my muscles getting sore after some workouts, and never do more than an hour a day, so virtually impossible, but good luck to you hun :)

You know what - you should! In fact you should check in here and keep me company (haha).
I can't go to the gym everyday (and I'm not insane :p) but sometimes I'll do three hours on a Monday night etc.
Again, not because I'm a gym bunny (by any means) I just get so hyped up from a body attack/body jam class... that it takes very little to persuade me to stay on for another class.

Anyway, good luck hun!!! You can do it! x

I am going to join you on this if thats ok, normally I try to do an hour of wii fit 5/6 days a week, but will try to increase my activity level a little more each day to allow me to reach this target :)

I can't wait until I get paid and am able to get some new games...how sad does that make me :rolleyes:

Managed to do an additional 1 hour 9 minutes on the wii when I got back from work last night team.
I blame my competitive brother!

Body attack tonight! I can't wait.. but there's sure to be less activity on the wii tomorrow as a result :p

Weighed in on Thursday - lost 2lbs :D whoo
I then went to see friends for the weekend, and have been poorly since I got back (yuck!)

However, still managed to get to the gym last night.
Not much on the wii over the weekend, but will change that tonight!!

Had a gain this week... 1.5lbs... Gutted.

And I'm hoping my gain was muscle too!!

It was my birthday yesterday, so had a day off! I also ordered the 30 day shred! duh duh duh... have heard lots about it! Don't know when I'll be trying starting that yet, perhaps after this.. maybe before, we'll see when it gets here!

dont beat yourself up over days off your body naturally needs time off for muscle growth and to give you energy if your training as much as you are 1 early night a week but thats just an idea im not forcing it upon you lol
